first time in Pineda de mar and we're already looking at going back next year. asked for low floor due to having children and we were given room on 2nd floor which was great. The balcony ran across lounge and bedroom and overlooked the square which is bustling with cafes. The bakery is also just across the square which was very convenient for fresh bread every morning. The staff in the hotel were lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They kindly printed off our tickets for the visit to Camp Nou, ( which is also highly recommended if you love football ) Thee room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. The cleaning staff always friendly and chatty. we used the pool at the Hotel Aqua Promenade and special thanks to the animation team there who made our holiday with the kids daily activies, which were varied and entertaining. Thank you Aldara and Anouk !! we hope to see you again ! The Friday market is great and nearby town Areyns de Mar is also worth a visit ( Saturday market ) all in all a great holiday

The apartments are just off a lovely square, just a few yards to the beach and train station and near the town and other squares. There is a great bakery in the square for fresh bread and cakes and loads of places for coffees, drinks and eats all day. Great place

Just back after a weeklong visit. This is an excellent value apartment offering. Had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor overlooking the street outside. The apartments do not front onto the seaside promenade but are on the street immediately behind - the beach is just a couple of minutes walk across the promenade and railway line - several subway crossings and a level crossing by the station itself. Can’t fault cleaning/maintenance etc of apartment or the complex itself. No pool on site but you can access the pool etc. at the sister hotel on the promenade - reception will give you a pass card but we weren’t ask to produce it. There’s a small bar on site and you can also but large bottles of water - save you lugging them from elsewhere. Reception is 24 hour. Area is quiet - Pineda de Mer is a quieter place anyway so enjoy. WiFi is available for free - ask for access codes - generally ok but can be a little slow - possibly because everyone is booting up at the same time. Easy 5 minute walk will bring you to lots of places to eat/drink but do check opening times. We arrived on a Monday and found a few places closed and many places will close for the afternoon. Lovely spot “Vora Mar c100m from the entrance for a beer/cocktail/ice cream.

We stayed here in August. We had asked for a room with a balcony, as not all rooms have one. We were delighted to find that it was huge, travelling the length of our 2 sets of doors. We had a one-bedroom apartment, in the bedroom there was plenty of wardrobe space and the bed was very comfortable. Our air conditioning was spot on, much needed. In the kitchenette/dining room there was another double bed, which was very low to the floor. Probably not best suited to elderly guests, or those with a bad back. There was no storage space at all in this room. Sharing a wardrobe, as big as it was, with 2 teenage girls was very tricky, especially of an evening getting ready to go out for meals. There was ample cutlery and crockery, with a microwave, oven and fridge, but surprisingly, no kettle! A dining table and four chairs were also there. We were half board so never really needed the kitchen equipment. The bar was well stocked and we usually had a nightcap in the rear beer garden. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Julietta printed off our return flight tickets and was very helpful with our transfer return. All our meals were at the Hotel Promenade, a short 2 minute walk. The meals were mostly lovely, repetitive slightly, but that's usually the case. Plenty of rice, pasta, fruit, veg and yogurts, which being a vegetarian was crucial. As with most restaurants on the continent though, there were no vegetable mains - lasagne etc, so my plate was usually a combination of all the non-meat items. It was always very well presented, fresh and a great selection nonetheless. The hotels are situated a minute or two from the rail station, ideal for trips south to Calella and Barcelona or north to Santa Susanna and Lloret de Mar. Pineda itself has a lovely long beach. And we were lucky enough to be there for its carnival/festival week. There was a fair for the girls, and 2 amazing nights were had with an incredible street firework procession, and a festival of the giants - huge medieval kings and queens parading, followed by hordes of delighted Catalonians.
