The location of the hotel is perfect,we have stayed at the other end of Roses before,where all the hotels are, but most are closed in December, now it was very nice to be close to the town too.The staff were most friendly and helpful. The room was nice,clean and comfortable, and even from a room at the side of the hotel we had a beach view. One drinks machine at breakfast was not very warm, but when I tried the other machine, that was good and hot, so I was able to make a good cup of tea. On our last evening there was a problem with the warm water,but that was just unfortunate,things happen, it wasn't a drama. The receptionist, Josep, such a charming and helpful gentleman, was getting so many complaints the next morning as we were leaving, it was a great pity, it wasn't his fault, and he was most apologetic. For me it was a very good stay there, the only problem I could find was the internet connection, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

... even though it was a non-smoking floor. I was going to give this place a lower rating but it does have many redeeming qualities. On our one night stay the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a bit small but clean as was the bathroom despite the smell. The breakfast was very adequate. The hotel is a bit dated but is very well maintained. The rooms are basically slots in a wall so to speak and there is little sound proofing. Hope to have quiet neighbors. There is parking across the street but it is expensive. We were able to find a space about a half-mile away. Be sure to locate your car on google maps if you choose this option. But quite frankly there is nothing of interest in Roses. My wife saw Roses written up in a magazine in a doctors office and thought it might be nice to see. Yuk. It appeared to us to be one of the big euro tourist traps that swell in the socialist prescribed vacation month of August and the abundant Catholic holidays. Skip it and got to Calella or Tossa. Off season of course.

“Great location”

Great location right on the beach, restaurants and everything very close by. Rooms are kind of old, 80’s decor style. Breakfast was minimal, too many sweet pastries. View from window was not too interesting

“Hotel almost on the beach”

A typical spainise hotel in an great location with sea views let down by poor acoustics between the rooms. The breakfast offered a while choice but the coffee machines produced brown hot water and no taste. The hotel staff are very helpful. Visit the hotel in the summer months.
