“Our paradise”

It is our 6 th time here. Brilliant as always. It was fully booked due to Halloween, but good that we managed to secure at least 3 nights this time. Usually we go for longer :)

There was nothing we didn’t like about this place. The resort itself is set in a great location, just a 5 min walk to the shops and beach. The sea front here is beautiful and very clean, with water fountains dotted about as well as a play area for small kids, ping pong tables, and toilets. There are a variety of water sports - banana boat rides, parasailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, boat rentals & more. La Siesta Resort & Camping is a great place to stay. The resort has great facilities, pretty much everything you need, the pool or should I say pools, are excellent! Even I (as an adult!) found them exciting! I’d imagine they would keep kids entertained for days! Swimming under the bridges and waterfalls, exploring the many different pools, I have never been to a resort with such an exciting layout and it’s all set in such beautiful grounds, it really feels like your in a rainforest! There is also a heated indoor pool with jacuzzi and fountains and you can swim through flaps into an outdoor heated pool, it really is such an interesting and exciting place, I’d have had the time of my life here as a kid! Being an adult, I had to kinda keep myself a little more contained!! The whole place is very clean, the bungalow we stayed in was modern, and i was very surprised when I looked through the kitchen drawers and cupboards, it has absolutely everything you could possibly need to cook even the most complicated of meals! I visited with my mum for a short break, all in all we had a great time and would definitely go again, I can wait to take my daughter! We both highly recommend.

“The most amazing pools.”

We were staying at Ancora apartments and had access to La Siesta. The pools are fantastic and completey made our holiday. We were staying at Ancora apartments and had access to La Siesta. The pools are fantastic and completey made our holiday. We had a breakfast package at La Siesta and unfortunately I was unwell after our first visit. I can’t 100% say it was because of breakfast but I hadn’t eaten anywhere else at that point, so really can’t see it being anything else. My husband was fine but we ate different things. But this wiped out a huge 6 days from a 10 day holiday. We are returning to Ancora and have booked the breakfast package for access to La Siestas pools but not sure I will brave the food again.

“Very Disappointed Guest 2025”

We have just returned from our stay at La Siesta Salou Resort. Please be aware of the detials. We arrived a family of eight. We travelled through the night and cheched into the resort. We were only told at that point that we were booked into Purto Rico apartments. We needed two apartments. Having booked through Booking.com their site didnt specify that those apartments are situated on the road side completely seperate form the resort. On La Siesta own site they do acknowledge this. This apartment block is primarily residential Porto Rico apartments are a back up. In order to access these apartments we had to leave the resort walk approximately 450/500 steps to access the accommodation. There is no direct access point from the advertisied resort. This was very inconvienient and disapointing. We did try to get two bungalows on site there were no availability only for three nights of our stay. ( This also was at a cost to us). Booking.com has not specified the difference between Bungalows and Apartments at any point during our origional booking or on their site. Also be advised the pool bar will close plus the tiny shop at 3pm daily to 7pm. There is a small and not adequate bar for soft drinks etc., during this time. We did book a table to eat at the restraunt one night the fish dish came when everyone else had eaten their meal. Not acceptable especially the prices that they charge. The menu was poor and the breakfast will cost €15 per person. The staff were really rude and abrupt if there were any issues that needed to be discussed. This was a holiday planned for a year in advance and it was so disappointing with a feeling of being detached from the resort and stuck in roadside apartments. We did receive a bag with clean towel and bedding a day before we checked out. As there was a washing machine in the apartment we just managed our towel by putting on a wash when needed. To summerize for the cost of this Resort it was extreamly over rated in all areas. All the pool activities were directed at the Spanish speaking guests and children. I do hope that my review is considered when any further potential holiday makers intend to book. Booking.com should be held responsible for not specifying clearly the difference between booking an Apartment and a Bungalow on site. This we will be taking up with the company in due course. A very disappointed famlly of eight.
