The Hotel sells it self short saying it’s a two star ** I’d rate it a *** but give it a personal 5 for the week we had. We’re currently in room 408 and the room is better than the Lanzaplayer we stayed at 11 months ago. The room is spotless and the cleaning staff have been everyday but one out of seven. The breakfast at the Hotel is typical of the islands that was decent and we had no issues. As the food good we ate here three times instead of the main strip. The staff are excellent. Speak good English and will help with your Spanish. The Reception staff are also fantastic. The Hotel has two pools. The smaller one is the quiet side. Not that the main pool is noisy. Our room faced the small pool. There is a no reserving sun bed policy. But this isn’t enforced. To be honest. We didn’t have issues getting a sun bed at anytime. If you have trouble walking then this hotel isn’t for you. It’s at the top of what everyone calls cardiac hill. Also be weary if pushing a wheelchair or buggy. But it’s quiet and for us perfect. We also requested a later checkout as Jet2 will pick you up for the return transfer at 1715-1815. This service is essential for us. As it stops messing about. It costs 40 Euros. But worth every penny. This will dependant on availability and time of the season. We definitely will book again. Thank you Hotel Lomo Blanco.

“Nice but not good for mobility issues”

Excellent clean apartments and complex but unfortunately this is in a hill and not at all suitable for those with mobility issues. Thankfully there is a good taxi service.

First of all ... another wonderful easyjet package - 100% recommend easyjet. So to the apartments ... shared trf wasn't long about 45 mins. Room was modern and had the most wonderful bed! OMG soooo comfy. Shower was amazing, lovely walkin shower. Kitchen adequate for us. We mainly used the freezer for storing lollies! Pleased that the photos matched real life. Bar food adequate and bar drink prices reasonable, cheaper were found on the strip which is about an 8 min walk DOWN 100 or so steps which for some might be an issue (LOADS of bars and restaurants on the strip). I personally enjoyed the walk and hill. 2 supermarkets very close by, one just round the back of the apartments ... the other at the bottom of the stairs on the strip. Cleanliness was good although bed sheets weren't changed during our week's stay. Plenty of towels were given out. Reception staff were helpful but unsmiley. Evening entertainment non existent but we knew that. There is a pool table and a separate bar for the evening. Inflatables and balls were allowed in the pool and amazingly there is a lifeguard by the pool every day 9am-5pm. Which as a parent was excellent! Overall i'd give it a 7 out of 10. My kids now want evening entertainment eg. disco, bingo and local artists so we won't be returning as a family for the foreseeable years but i'd def return.
