“Great hotel”

Loved this hotel people nice, very clean and lovely atmosphere. Always plenty of sunbeds. Would rate 4* not 3. Food was lovely and rooms spacious and clean and location was fab for the beach and shops

We stayed here as a family of four during the July summer holidays, and we would definitely return. We were extremely happy with our stay from start to finish. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed on an all inclusive basis, and the food exceeded our expectations. We usually went to the evening buffet around 6:30pm because of our young children. I’d read a few reviews mentioning that the food was cold, but that wasn’t our experience at all. Everything was fresh, hot and regularly replenished. There was an excellent variety, and it genuinely tasted home cooked. We stayed at a four-star hotel in Alcúdia last year, and the food there was nowhere near as good as it was here. Lunch was a little more limited, but it really didn’t matter because both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The evening meals were varied, delicious and didn’t feel like typical all inclusive food. The drinks were excellent too, with branded drinks included and we never had to queue for long at either the buffet or the bar. The cocktails were particularly good. The pool area was nice, although sunbeds could be difficult to find later in the morning because some guests reserved them without using them. We tended to spend our mornings at the beach, so when we returned it could be a struggle to find a space - However, that’s more of a guest issue than a hotel issue. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a five-minute stroll away and plenty of restaurants nearby. Evening entertainment is fairly limited, but that suited us as the hotel had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. Our apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained, with a good sized bathroom. The beds were a little on the firm side, but certainly not enough to detract from an otherwise excellent stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

As a family of four we enjoyed our two week stay very much. The appartement was very clean and cleaned five times a week. Beds in main bedroom were very comfortable, the beds in the livingroom a little less. The location is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The gym facility is small, but has some options. The pool is perfect for kids. Staf is very friendly and helpful. Over all we were very pleased.

This hotel looks great on paper but unfortunately, it is a bit of a hit and miss. The best feature is the location: it is a short distance from the beach, and within walking distance from shops or a 25' walk (or two bus stops) from the port. If on an all inclusive, you can get beds in the morning (see below), leave your towels, go back to the hotel for lunch and then head to the beach again. Secondly, there were no mad rush to get beds by the pool in the morning, with plenty available although most of them without a parasol (which you need in the scorching heat). This may have been due to the fact that we travel before the UK school closures. The staff at reception are polite and helpful, and if you hire a car, it is delivered at the hotel. There is however no dedicated parking. Breakfast is until 11:30am which is great for late sleepers; lunch between 12:30 and 2:30pm, and dinner 6:30'to 9:30pm The negatives are many. A studio for 3 adults has a small bed which is not fit for purpose. There is cleaning on Sundays and Thursdays. Towels are very rough, and the bed linen was apparently not changed. Toiletries are really basic. The shampoo is to avoid, and the shower gel is not always replanished in a dispenser bottle (we had to ask to have it refilled). Food (on all inclusive) was not the best. There was some odd offerings at breakfast (fried zucchini?) and limited continental options or cereals/yoghurts. Lunch is at the snack bar. You can order hot food but found it unappealing. A burger would still be cold with unmelted cheese; a hot did is made with cheese; pizza is a reheated, unappealing slice. The buffet consists mostly of limited vegetables and options, with pasta (not great) a constant. Dinner is a hit and miss again, some food was good some was not but it does offer more choice. Again pizza is always on offer as well as pasta but not great quality. Entertainment again not great. The island is beautiful and the beaches are well attended. You can hire a bed with a parasol at €9 per day per chair; if you go for more than 4 days, you can have them reserved which means they are always available. In Alcudia, payment is by card. The round is around 9-10am, and then around 1-2pm. If you arrive late, say after 4pm, you can find beds without paying. Alternatively, you can just use the beach without the beds; there is plenty of space and it may be worthwhile buying a cheap parasol as many people do. At beaches elsewhere, payment for beds was in cash so always carry some on you. In short, this hotel is suitable if you are not looking for a luxurious experience and only need a base to travel around Mallorca. If you are after a bit of comfort, then give it a miss.
