We returned last night from a 7 night stay and had an amazing time. Having read some negative reviews, we were slightly apprehensive before going, but there was no need to be at all. We stayed in the Formentera block on the ground floor. I had requested a quiet ground floor room by emailing the hotel in advance and got exactly that. The room was clean and bright, with a small but modern shower room. It looked exactly like the photos on the website. The reception, restaurant, pool and entertainment staff were all great. Our rooms were cleaned every day, beds made and towels changed. The pool facilities far exceeded our expectations. They were absolutely brilliant. With three swimming pools, one shallow pool with slides and the massive Pirate themed splash pad/mini water park, there was plenty to keep us entertained for the entire holiday; we only left once to go to the beach. Travelling with a four year old and a baby, we needed somewhere easy to stay that didn't require a lot of moving around and this hotel enabled exactly that. Two of the swimming pools, as well as the shallow pool with slides, also had sloped entry, which was great for our baby to sit and splash in the water. We heard about sunbed wars in advance, so were slightly nervous, however we did not have any issue in securing a bed and umbrella for the entirety of our stay. Most days we didn't go to look for a bed until 8:15/8:30 on the way to breakfast and although lots were reserved, there were still many available. We rented a Bali bed one day for €15, which was nice enough and good for baby to nap, but it probably wasn't worth it, as we spent most of the time swimming, not laying around. I would recommend one though if you wanted a long lie-in and to avoid worrying completely about having to secure a bed early in a preferred location. You'll just need to book a few days in advance as they book out. Although the dining room was quite hectic at times and noisy, we always got a table and the staff were great with the kids. To avoid the mad rush for breakfast and dinner, I'd recommend going as it opens, but we only did this once in the evening as we wanted to maximise our pool time. There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast there was everything you could think of: cereals, breads, pancakes, churros, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, continental meats and cheese and more! Dinner had a different theme every night and although this was only a small selection of themed food, there was a huge amount of choice in other areas. For more fussy eaters there was always pizza, chips and pasta. Then in addition to this there was paella/risotto, freshly cooked meat and fish, salads, vegetables and much more. There was also a large selection of desserts, mainly cream cakes that all tasted the same and then ice-cream, but enough choice to keep you happy for a week. In the main dining room, there were also taps to help yourself to beer, wine, sangria, water and soft drinks. The snack bar is situated by the main pool and the staples were burgers, pizza, hot dogs, sometimes chicken nuggets, chips and other vegetable dishes. There was also a small selection of meats cheeses and salad. The ice-cream machine was also in here, which you could help yourself to. There is also a drinks dispenser here to help yourself to soft drinks, water, beer and slushies. We ate here most days for lunch to avoid having to get dried and changed for the restaurant. Lunch in the restaurant was pretty similar to the evening offering, with plenty of choice. The evening entertainment was thoroughly enjoyed by the children. The kids mini disco was every night, followed by a variety of entertainment. Every evening, there are bungee trampolines for the kids to go on (€8 for 10 mins) and other evenings there is other entertainment such as little cars for small children to drive around and inflatable balls where the children could run on the swimming pool. On our last day, we didn't get picked up until almost 5pm and unfortunately couldn't secure late check-out. However, we didn't need to worry as Reception were able to give us a key and towels for a shower room and we could leave all our bags in luggage storage. This meant we had all morning and early afternoon to use the pools one last time. Thank you to all of the staff for an incredible family holiday that we'll never forget. We definitely would love to return again.

This was our first holiday abroad as a family of 5. With two young children - this hotel was perfect for us. The food is lovely, the hotel is cleaned every day for us and the cleaning staff are 5*. Constantly cleaning up everything for everyone. Resort is spotless! Staff are very friendly and lovely. Lots to do on the resort - we only left once to venture out (wasn’t loads to do other than a beautiful beach and a few shops) we had the best time. Will definitely be back.

“One of the best hotels we've stayed at.”

We had an absolutely fantastic time at HYB Eurocalas. The staff are brilliant, the food is delicious and the water park is so much fun. We'd definitely recommend HYB Eurocalas to all our friends and family. We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of Cava in the room, nice little touch.

“Great family holiday”

We have just come home from hyb. The place is brilliant for kids. The all inclusive food is ok but not to our taste and we ate out a few times. The animation team are great and kept the kids entertained. Definitely recommend for a family to stay here.
