“Total relaxation adults only”

Stayed here early Sept and loved it so much we have already booked to return next June. Everything about this hotel was excellent. On arrival early our room was ready which was much appreciated. “Amazing Experience”

Holiday for a 10 Year Anniversary and what an amazing time we had!!! Staying in room 604, we had one of the best views in the hotel looking across beach & sea!!! “Great hotel & area”

“4th visit and as great as ever!”

This was our 4th visit to the El Cid and it was as wonderful as ever. Friendly and helpful staff and everywhere is very clean and fresh. Great choice at breakfast and two lovely pools to choose from. “Solo stay with family close by”

So originally was to stay with family elsewhere but preferred this hotel as on the beach..adult only a must and cost ok ish. A few suggestions for the hotel : Later when attempting to add our lunch bill to the room we weren't allowed as we hadn't registered our credit card at reception, luckily we had cash on us - perhaps this should have also been done at checkin? The hotel issues the dreaded wristbands you see in all inclusive hotels but for half board strangely. No one wore them so after 2 nights we didn't take ours to the restaurant only to be asked for them ! Perhaps just ask people their room number on entering like most hotels do ? Our room was a seaview suite on the top floor Room 603. It was brilliant. Separate lounge and bedroom, three balconies one from the bedroom with table and chairs, one from the lounge also with table and chairs and the third also from the lounge with sunbeds. All balconies had glass so the view was stunning. The room was very quiet and extremely comfortable. Very clean and great maid service early each day. Lovely big bathroom and shower. Food at breakfast and dinner was good. Service excellent. We loved the lounge bar used a lot as it was 34 degrees so air conditioning great. Outside areas around both pools lovely also with good food and drink service. Special credit to all the staff who were amazing from reception to bars, restaurant, housekeeping - all made our holiday relaxing. They work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Location is great for supermarket and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.. Loved the little tourist train just in front of the hotel. Can't wait to return next June..
