We booked this last minute, for August reading the reviews about the air conditioning and wondering how hard it could be after braving the UK heatwave. The fans were ok, noisy but with doors/ windows open it was no worse than being at home in the heatwave...except these buildings are designed for the heat. We loved it here. Yes it is dated, but it's clean. The check-in lady was wonderful, moving my room from 1st floor with pushchair (no lift) to the room on the ground floor next to my parents. The pools are fabulous! Warm, large and never too full. Baby pool amazing. Always able to get a sunbed. Clean area. We did self catering and whilst the facilities were basic, the restaurant food was good...if not a little expensive. The service in there was hit and miss to be honest, but generally ok. We only had a couple of evening meals there. No entertainment, but I didn't miss it. It was lovely to have a drink whilst kids played in games area. The beachbis a 2 min walk round the back of the blocks opposite pool. Beach was lovely, kids and my dad swam to end of cove and looked in caves. We lived at the beach bar, brilliant cocktails. Supermarket felt like a trek with a pushchair and is basic. Would be great if the bar could sell break and milk essentials. You can buy bottled water there at 3x price of supermarket. We went to Cuitadella, a great day out. The bus stop is down from the hotel, very easy to navigate and you are there within about 20 mins. Be mindful Cuitadella almost fully closes for siesta. All in all, we enjoyed our 5 night break. After having had a terrible recent 4* all inclusive experience in Turkey, this restored my faith in the package holiday and this hotel was a bit part of that!

“Relaxing Summer Break.”

The apartments were basic but clean. There was no air conditioning but an effective ceiling fan and a portable fan was provided. The cooking facilities were limited to a microwave and 2 hotplates but as were were not planning to cook this was not an issue. The towels were changed twice and linen… more

The apartments were basic but clean. There was no air conditioning but an effective ceiling fan and a portable fan was provided. The cooking facilities were limited to a microwave and 2 hotplates but as were were not planning to cook this was not an issue. The towels were changed twice and linens once during the week. The gardens and pool were immaculate. We never had a issue with finding a sunbed as there were plenty available and other guests were respectful about not reserving them. The bar staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. the bar does shut promptly at 12 but they do provide paper cups to allow you to finish your drink elsewhere. The beach is really close to the apartments, about 5 minutes. A mini-mart about 7 mins and the town is about 20 mins walking.

“Ok for the price paid”

Stayed for a week 23rd July -30th, family of four. 10year old and 3 year old. Start on a very positive note! Staff and pool fantastic. Attentive, polite nothing was too much. Pool is stunning, cool enough to cool down in but not so cold you fear getting in. Toddler pool fab for the little ones. NEVER a fight for a sun bed they were always available no matter what time of day you went down and no reserving of them. Food at the bar was great too... so much so we only ventured out twice and still said the bar food was better and affordable (big portions) 1 kids meal fed both our kids !! Beach within perfect proximity, however found this beach dirty and full of rubbish :( Did not spend more than a half day there, pirate cove was a fab beach restaurant with fab cocktails. Unfortunately weather was far too hot to walk a toddler out and about so only ventured to Jimmy Hills once which was ok but full of shops where the kids just want want want... Not our cup of tea. Sadly the apartments are very dated, but were sufficient for what we paid. We went self catering and wished we had done half board considering we liked the food at the bar would have saved heat build up in the room which again has No air conditioning, fans which really didn't cut it made some nights pretty unbearable. Towels changed every other day. Things missing for us, some entertainment on site, air conditioning, updated facilities. The heatwave for us was a challenge but not the hotels fault. Would we return... Probably not. Did we have fun despite some minor issues. absolutely!

Recently returned. Good and bad - rooms basic but very clean. Had fresh towels 3 times and linen changed once, however with no aircon it was very uncomfortable there are fans but with night time temp still high twenties it was very warm and hard to sleep. THe pool was good. We had water guns and inflatables and not told off !! We stayed B&B I presumed it would be a buffet style however you had to,pick from a menu I was disappointed but to be honest the food was lovely and good quality the evening meals were also very nice and reasonably priced. Excellent staff My main moan would be the area. Yes the beach is a 2 minuets walk and there are 3 eating places on the beach 2 were good not keen on one due to mainly fish on menu but ok for drinks. The pirate bar was very nice and chilled atmosphere.The supermarket is about 10 mins away but if you want more eateries and shops it’s a 15/20 min walk into a very very run down area there was 3 trinket shops a supermarket and about 5 or 6 places to eat . My son went in the evening and it was very quiet. I feel,the description on jet2 and google for this area is very misleading it was probably as described before Covid but now it’s a very in my option sad and depressing street with numerous bars and shops boarded up. So in my option if you want to spend time at the pool this place is great staff extremely pleasant however if you to moochie about in shops and cafes etc definitely not the place to book.
