Moved here after our first hotel shut early and I must say what a pleasure it has been after reading some negative reports, we were in 211, 2 double bedrooms, much appreciated due to having a cough and cold, 2 bathrooms but as only 2 of us we only used 1, room clean and spacious and kitted out well for self catering, hired a TV as the weather was not great at beginning of week, being near end of Oct lots of places in area were closing for winter, we had the pool and sunbeds mostly to ourselves, as we were half board we loved the meals and found the staff really friendly, the beach is a stonetrow away but after storms there were lots of jellyfish around but by the next day we didn't notice any, it was nice and clean and few bars and restaurants along the pathway, thanks to all for a nice getaway

“2 weeks stay long review (sorry;)”

It's our 2nd trip to Hamilton court. We choose it because it's affordable accommodation for.our family of 7 and we can all stay in same apartments and not spread over 2... We new from before it's pot luck as to what standard of room you get and wasn't too disappointed tbh.... after the lovely lad... more

It's our 2nd trip to Hamilton court. We choose it because it's affordable accommodation for.our family of 7 and we can all stay in same apartments and not spread over 2... We new from before it's pot luck as to what standard of room you get and wasn't too disappointed tbh.... after the lovely lady in the office there sorted out the mess travel republic had left by cancelling my reservation (only found out on arrival) we was given a 2 bed room that we'd booked but she gave us one with 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom 1 shower room) and a washing machine!! Rooms were dated but functional. Air conditioning was ceiling fans but it helped in the heat wave we had I've the 2 weeks... Wasn't very safe for my 18month baby as he managed to find every loose socket and light switch he could... Beds and towles change once in 2 weeks, they only have us 5 changes of towels so had to ask for more which were delivered in about 20mins so no complaints there. Wouldn't bother with TV rental unless you only want to watch Spanish TV... Beds were ok loads of clothes storage, sofa bed was a proper pull out bed... Balcony furniture was a bit rickety but had to use 2 chairs around dining table as there wasn't enough for 6 people. We are down stairs for dinner in restaurant.. food was good. Steak, burgers cooked how ever you liked.. before when we stayed we were half-board so had option of eating in vista mar apartment restaurant but they all seem closed because of covid. We'd normally eat I the buffet restaurant joined with apartments across the road but that was closed too.. the resort is a quiet resort normally. Yes there is usually a kids disco and evening entertainment from the apartments opposite but we stayed I that side before and all is quiet after 11pm. This year there was nothing so extremely quiet... The beach was lovely as always although all the foot wash stations were closed.due to covid but Hamilton court had there own so not a problem... Although I do prefer the more uo to date apartments of across the road (mistrel and llebeig) value for money for basic accomodation and size of apartments cant go wrong... Yes proper air-conditioning would be fab but even with day temperatures of 35degrees we had this year I didn't have a sleepless night because I was to hot. All in all a lovely if not different holiday (covid restrictions, facemasks and the quarantine)

“you get what you pay for !”

Arrived very late on sat 12 october around midnight the last Bristol flight so had to find the duty receptionist which was not a problem as her room number was on the recption door . fair play whithin 5 minutes we were in our room and sorted . our room 115 was quite large bed was ok and bathroom... more

Arrived very late on sat 12 october around midnight the last Bristol flight so had to find the duty receptionist which was not a problem as her room number was on the recption door . fair play whithin 5 minutes we were in our room and sorted . our room 115 was quite large bed was ok and bathroom the same with loads os space for two people faf about at the same time balcony was ok lounge too although the kitchen a bit tired couple of the drawers were falling apart , lacked propper pots and pans and cutlery that didnt realy match , there were only 2 of us so it wasn't really a problem. There are a couple of mini markets close by but nothing is cheap ! talking of food we had a couple of evenings when we got takaway food for our room , it was nice and the portions were generous. had to be out of our room by 10 but had houskeeping knocking on the door at 9 asking us are we going !! The beach is minutes away and lovely, we didnt use the pool though it looked nice and clean .we had fab weather so were lucky to be able to walk along the paths along the coastline that is a must do. great photo opportunity .we recommend hiring a car for a couple of days as there are some beutiful places around Menorca that offer brilliant views and eating out is a good exprience,we can recomend going to Fornells,only half an hour on the north coast loads of parking spaces and free !.the roads are easy and never busy so if you are not used to driving on the right . have a go ! ,
