We had an excellent 7 night stay here. We were 3 adults and 5 children. There was so much to do for the children they absolutely loved it and were occupied the whole time. The Disney show in the evening was extra special, it was like having front row seats at a west end show. Also, a big shout out to Bartholomew, who I assume was the manager, he went above and beyond for me and my daughter. Can’t thank him enough. Can’t wait to return with more of my family. Thanks again!

25/04 - 05/05 This review I will cover both good and not so good points. I am 66yrs my wife, daughter, son in law 9yr Grand Daughter and 3yr Grandson. Travelled from Newcastle with Jet2 who I think are unbeatable but thats a different review. We did not arrive at Tagoro until about 2130 hrs . Quick friendly checkin and a bag of sandwiches, fruit and water, although there is a burger King about 2mins walk away. The Room. We had rooms 014 and 015 located above the bar and entertainment area. First impression we were plesently surprised how large the patio area was with table and chairs and pull out clothes dryer. Down side it wasnt very private with low walls and a shared access. We had patio doors the width of the apartment. opened with a key card. Once inside there was a spacious living area with a sofa bed, chair, coffee table. TV with channels 32-35 UK TV . Also a fridge and microwave kettle, cups and tea and coffee. Bedroom had two single beds pushed together with built in side tables and headboard. Plenty of wardrobe space and safe which is a refundable 20 euros. The bathroom hand twin sinks hair dryer towels soapd ect and shower/bath and bidet. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and beds made daily by very friendly staff. Down side of apartment the room felt a little tired but not surprising when you think of the constant turnover. I did see other apartments getting makeovers while we were there which shows that the hotel is trying to maintain a suitable standard. Also the air con was not working in the room when we arrived so we informed reception the next morning ' It was fixed withinan hour. As were the batteries in the TV contrller that needed replacing. All in all I would give room 015 9/10. The restaurant is buffet style and light a bright. I read a review whereby someone wrote they ate out because the restaurant was ok if you liked just pork. I found that utter nonsense. While I was there for ten days I had Pork in various forms, chicken dishes, turkey, lamb, beef dishes, steak, various fish dishes, spanish dishes, curries. The list goes on. Breakfast is a full range of continental meats cheeses fruit, various cerials, pancakes, waffels, various omeletts, fried scrambled and hard boiled eggs.. Full english include english sausage beans bacon mushrooms black pudding. etc oh and HP sauce. Also various breads and pancakes etc. Nice orange juice and coffee. Lunch we tended to have salads but there was hot foods as well. Dinner was also a variety of hot dishes or salads and deserts. Ok Down side found that the kids choices were limited to pizza chips cheese pasta. Yes there was alot of repeat dishes but as a retired chef i know that, this is needed in order to prevent waste. Bearing in mind that the hotel has to try and make a profit. This is not fine dinning but I thought that the food was value for what you have paid for your holiday. If you want better pay for a 5star hotel stay. Swimming pools and pool areas were kept clean and tidy. We never had trouble getting sunbeds but not sure abot during peak times of the year. Pool bar opens at 1100 you can get self serve water and soft drinks. Also available was beer, spirits and cocktails. Food is normally hot dogs burgers piella and salad, french fries. Kids clubs are great they kept the kids occupied all day with various events. Evening entertainment could be a bit hit a miss. But we had at least three evening where the entertainment was 7/10. Being an old wrinkly I dont do karaoke or disco music so early nights lol. To sum up this stay I would say a good family hotel, with great staff a nice feel to the place. Good Value for money. 5euro taxi ride to the seafront. Down side very noisy in restaurant around the pool and in the bar, but thats kids for you. Did see a few drunks normally brits Im ashamed to say but not to many. I have limited mobility but was able to get about. Not realy suitable for wheelchair users. So 4/5 very good.

Just back to the rain in Ireland , from one week in tagoro hotel Tenerife , with my husband and 3 and half year old son . The check in staff were amazing esp tatianna ,who checked us into the beautiful Merlin family room , which I highly recommend for younger kids , as he thought it was amazing . Tatianna was so nice and understanding and really professional . On arrival to the Merlin room, very spacious and spotless , lovely kitchenette , the garden was lovely with a beautiful hot tub in it 👍 Located close pool and playground. 👍 Just noted that the door lock was at young child level as my little boy was able to open it with ease. This caused a safety concern as he managed to walk out a few times . Highly recommend a more substantial lock ( for example a bolt lock or chain lock ) at a higher, unreachable level , esp in all 7 of the Merlin rooms as they are geared towards the younger child . Overall food was nice but younger kids menu very limited. I have a fussy eater who lived on hotdogs for the week It wud. Be Great to see a wider variety ( chicken nuggets and fish fingers) for fussy kids The arts and craft chameleon mini kids club was amazing , my little boy had amazing time there , colouring and gluing glitter and the soft play area was frequented almost every day . The lady working there was so friendly and great with kids, I stayed with my little boy as he was under 4 years of age 👍 The mini disco at 8 pm every night was class👍we have brought home amazing memories of our little boy , out on the floor , dansing away every night to great catchy music , laughing and enjoying his holiday so much . Location wise , the hotel is a short taxi ride to the beach , the Fañabe beach was fab and local shops and big eateries( ie mc Donald’s ) close by , The kids splash pool was lovely , the water bucket was cool , Just noted that the floor surfaces in the kids splash pool ( ie the bridge and up on the slide platform and steps , up to the slide) were extremely slippery and would highly recommend anti slip mats on them, to avoid unnecessary falls . Overall , an amazing stay . Beautiful memories made for our little boys first sun holiday and will 100 percent be back in the near future . Thank you 🙏 Emma , stephen and Jack

We stayed at the Hotel Tagoro at the end of March for 12 days. We were a family of 14 8 adults and 6 children. The Hotel is positioned on a hill about 25 mins walk from Adeje shops and Beach. So it can be a bit of track to get to get back. However your on Holiday so just take it easy and stroll back. The Hotel itself is well maintained, With large comfortable rooms, long terraces and balconies. The dining room Restaurant is well positioned close to the pool and facilities.It serves a well varied menu so there is always something to eat. Drinks are varied, however during the day there is only the pool bar from which to obtain them. The bar staff work their socks off to make sure that your not waiting too long. As this a family Hotel there is a good selection of pool activities for the children to do. The entertainment team are great and do their utmost to keep everyone occupied. In the evenings there is in hotel entertainment with the occasional guest act. Entertainment ends at 11 o’clock, the hotel then closes down, which is a little disappointing. I suppose this is because of it being a family hotel and to discourage loud behaviour.We had no problem getting a sun bed considering that this was during Easter speaks for itself. All in all this is a very well run hotel with exceptionally hard working staff. We would like to thank everyone for making our stay enjoyable.
