I have just been on my first solo trip and I chose this hotel to stay at. I didn’t find the reception team overly helpful. When I checked in, I wasn’t given any information at all about the location of the restaurant for breakfast or the opening and closing times. I also wasn’t given any information on where the pool was, the operating times, towels etc. I asked if I could have a room with a sea view, but I was told I couldn’t with no reason why. I was willing to pay the additional, but it was a flat out no. On the few times I had any questions, the lady on reception didn’t stop what she was doing on her computer, she spoke to me whilst she continued working so I felt like a bit of a nuisance to her. The pool areas are spacious and have plenty of sun beds. It was quite empty when I used the pool and I can only imagine the reason for that is the sun beds are very uncomfortable. You can’t seat them up, you can only lay on them. A few times I took my pillows up so I could try and sit up and read my book. The pool by the bar is a lovely temperature, but the pool on the other side is freezing. The pool staff were very friendly and they served a good club sandwich. I paid for bed and breakfast, but only ate their breakfast once. The food way okay, but wasn’t very hot and not much variety. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was quite hard which I’m not used to, but I actually slept very well. My room faced the main road which was a little noisy at times, but it didn’t disturb me too much. The location was brilliant. It’s in a central location and I was able to walk everywhere. As a solo traveler, I felt safe here.

“A hotel which treats its guests exceptionally well.”

This is a very nice hotel in central Puerto de la Cruz where we spent a week in April. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the excellent buffet breakfast and dinner were enjoyed each day. What made this hotel stand-out were the excellent staff at Reception. We had need for special medical assistance during our stay and what could have been a very difficult situation was made very easy with Jose's support and help, at times beyond the call of duty. This is a hotel to be recommended.

“Very pleasant stay”

Lovely clean hotel, lovely staff,rooms cleaned and fresh towels every day.. Roof top pools was lovely but the subbeds are so uncomfortable.. “Junior suite uninspiring, busy location, expected more for this price, super bad wifi”

We booked a junior suite so we would have some more space and niecer views. The hotel is in a very busy rural earier and there is NO parking at the hotel. So you can't even unload your lugagge. There is a very ugly totally neglected old building right in front of the hotel that looks ugly where you can try and park, but it's next to the abonded building and very narrow. We were able to find a spot every time. Our room, well, it lacked ambiance, the extra room the junior suite provided was filled with a couch , nothing more. No TV nothing. Wifi was horrible you had to enter the password (if it worked) on each device every time you were not online the last minutes. So I think we entered the password or the more elaborate mail loging details about about 350 times during our stay. The lady's or girls at the reception were clueless, could not really help with anything. The only man, Jose, was a joy, he always engaged in conversation, shared stories and was honest, we only encountered him the last days. Breakfast is exactly the same each and every day, a big with room with a buffet with nothing special. We were glad we did not do dinner in the hotel. Nearby there a lot of restaurants within walking dinner. In the hotel there is nothing except two swimming pools on the roof. Views are rare, lots of buildings around. We could see the Teide from our suite. Sea view was on the side, I think most rooms only see buildings. Puerto de la Cruz is great for seeing the site of Tenerife,you are in the quieter north end everything is about an hours drive. We drove more then 1000km on this tiny island..
