You are dropped off on the main road and you can see Hotel from drop off point, a few minutes and you arrive. The staff at this hotel were lovely, very welcoming bar staff really friendly. All areas of the hotel were clean and well kept. Nice pool. This hotel is next to a park on a slight hill, if you exit the hotel via the rear patio area its a nice gentle walk through the park takes you to within 5 minutes to shops and beach. Just over the road is a merconda supermarket on the main road where are dropped off there is an economy supermarket we made good use of these , which will become apparent when you get to my food experience. This is very continental hotel not many English holiday makers however everyone we met were nice polite and respectful of each other. Our room on the 5th floor was clean with the walk in shower, good beds, plenty of hangers in wardrobe and storage was small set of drawers and a shelving unit with in the wardrobe. Rooms cleaned everyday and bathroom supplies replenished. Our balcony had a chrome set of furniture and we got afternoon and evening sun. Room has a safe which you pay for at reception a returnable deposit, fridge in room no charge when we there. There are no coffee/tea making facilities in room you can hire a kettle. There was also no tourist tax during our stay. Food unfortunately is dreadful not because I want a full english breakfast! as with most spanish hotels this is not always an option but what was available in this option was eggs fried within a inch of their lives, spainish bacon some sort of sausage beans tomatoes were only luke warm many guests using microwave to warm food English guests were fighting over the HP sauce because there was one. On one occasion lady using microwave fused electrics all the coffee machines in the same area not working not happy people, staff did sort it quite quickly. The evening meal not any better some sort of pork stew or white fish cooked on griddle the vegs was brussels sprouts. Spoke to couple who were there on a budget, staying full board and they said the food was worse than last year. The free drink we tried white wine not good on a recommendation tried rose a little better, if you can drink it they give you a bottle between a couple. The great thing there are loads of restaurants, bars and cafes that suit every budget. Entertainment was poor best entertainer was Saturday afternoon Nico fabulous singer and guitar player. Friday night went for a drink before going out not even any back ground music, another time mini disco for kids there was only about 6 children in the whole hotel. I appreciate most people go to benidorm for the outside entertainment, but this hotel had a number of guest staying in.

We travelled to Benidorm for the first time in March 2026 and stayed at this hotel on a half board basis. We wanted somewhere with warmer and drier weather than the UK (achieved) and to be able to travel from a regional airport (achieved). Let’s start with the positives: The location is excellent - we didn’t want to be in the strip area so this was perfect for us. The park that the hotel overlooks is quiet and peaceful and it is only about a 10 minutes walk down to the hustle and bustle and the beach. The hotel is about the same distance to the Old Town and is also about a 15 minutes walk to the tram station which is perfect for exploring more of the coast at very reasonable prices. The room - whilst the paint work could do with a bit of tidy up, the beds were really comfortable and the shower had great pressure and no end of hot water. Sadly the soundproofing is non-existent so be prepared for late night noise when the hotel is busy. Breakfast - this is the better meal of the day in the restaurant. Free water, juice, tea and coffee. Lots of fresh and dried fruit, some cereal and bread as well as the usual suspects of cooked food. The oranges - the oranges are the best food at the hotel. So juicy and tasty! (thank goodness) The staff - most were quite friendly and helpful. The staff in the restaurant are always grafting and reception staff were helpful if you needed anything. Now for the not so good: Well, like the other reviews really it was the evening meals which let this hotel down. I say that whilst appreciating that this is a 3* hotel and for the price paid you can’t really complain. The food was never warm, it was unimaginative and overcooked. The ‘Hot Cooking’ area just smelt of burnt oil which was not pleasant. The salads were the best option but to be honest, you don’t want that every evening. It was disappointing to not be able to even get a glass of water without having to buy it. We chose to eat out some evenings and that was a real treat. For the location and room we might think about staying again to escape the winter weather, but on a room only or B&B basis I think as I can’t face a return to the evening meal options (or lack of).

I've stayed at the Prince Park a few times over the years, but this time will be my last. First off, I'll highlight the positives. It's in a good location in the Old Town and a few minutes stroll from 'Walking Street' and the promenade with friendly staff and the rooms are basic but clean. I couldn't fault the breakfast. Cooked and continental breakfasts are well presented and fresh with plenty to choose from including cereals, porridge, yogurts, fruit, pastries and hot and cold drinks. Now for the negatives. If you enjoy queuing for your evening gruel including chicken nuggets that wouldn't look out of place in a pig swill bucket or prison canteen, and are happy to endure a nightly scrum waiting for the maître d' to find you a table to sit at (they won't allow you to share tables), you will be right at home. Occasionally you will find something nice to eat, but there's no consistency. I felt compelled to raise it as a complaint with the Jet2 rep and reception. The receptionist agreed that what I showed her wasn't acceptable and couldn't describe what it was, whereas the Jet2 rep didn't see any issues with it as she had been brought up in Spain. I was left baffled by that remark. I'm not a fussy eater by my own admission, but I wouldn't serve what I showed them to a dog and I said that. It was disgusting. I agreed to give it another try the following night, which was better, but that was my last meal and I opted to eat out instead. This used to be a great hotel that was pushing four stars, but now it's firmly sat at 3 stars. It's clear that they are cutting corners and costs to the detriment of quality, which is a shame. If you're staying B & B, it's fine for what it is but it's slipped from what I've experienced over the years.

Location good room was good great shower that's were it ends food was awful not even warm only thing hot was soup the beer was woeful like drinking dish water the staff were nice but never go back
