Stayed at this lovely hotel 21 to 28 May 2026 Short two minute walk from drop off and pick up by Jet 2 coach absolutely fine for us. First impression was not so good. We arrived around 1030pm the receptionist was miserable, sharp and did not smile. I was asked to prove we had a booking with the hotel despite giving name, address and booking with Jet 2. Had to then forward an email to the hotel before we were handed the keys. Were given a brown paper bag with a warm cheese and ham sandwich dried piece of marble cake and fruit. ROOM - clean and spacious front facing with sea view which we paid a premium with Jet 2. As a family of 6 we had three rooms.view pleasant I will attach photos room 406, Some come with waterfall shower or bath and shower. Shower gel and shampoo provided which is great however I always take my own having long hair. One wooden toothbrush odd ! provided and small rings of hand soap. Sealed bottles of water in fridge however not touched as I wasn’t sure if we would get charged and there is a water fountain on each floor to fill your own bottles. Fridge big enough to pop in your own drinks purchased at nearby supermarkets of which there were many within walking distance. Room tidied daily and fresh towels. INTERNET - This was great and worked well however we all had to get reception to put us on to the network. RESTAURANT- We went half board however if I’d have known would just have gone b&b as there are many eatery’s near by selling good food at reasonable price. Food at the hotel was absolutely fine and there was something for everyone. Did get a bit repetitive though. Got drink service at the table for evening meal. Put your drinks on a tab and pay at the end of your holiday for 10% discount. You are given an app so you can keep an eye of your spend which is useful. Cocktails a rip off full of ice and no drink so I stuck to rose wine which was pretty good. ENTERTAINMENT- this was great something different every night. A bit cheesy and aimed at the older generation but was great and we had fun. POOL - pool opened at 10am each day. You initially booked in to get a towel ten euros each this was refunded at the end of your holiday. Could exchange towel each day. There was an indoor pool and minute gym I did not use so cannot comment. Always found to be plenty of sun loungers small pool but big enough for a dip unfortunately too cold for me in May. Small slide which was great for kids and teens. Entertainment by the pool 5 days of the week. Everyone was included darts archery connect 4 etc you could even win a prize. T-shirt sun glasses a cocktail. The entertainment guy was great. STAFF - majority of staff were great unfortunately a few miserable ones however we took no notice. All in all a little gem of a hotel in old Benidorm would definitely return. Just one piece of advice- we were informed by jet2 less than 24 hours to fly that there was road works near to hotel and we could cancel booking. Was horrified however we took our chances and yes there is a big construction going on nearby piling and drilling. You could hear this by the pool however it was not too bad. See video noise was captured. I do think the rooms at the back of the hotel would have been affected more though. I don’t know how long the works will take but it looks like a big job.
