“Nice clean hotel”

Hi just a little review regarding the hotel and entertainment easy check in we was in room 319 very clean over looking pool the only issue was the lifts but we was on the 3rd floor we used stairs pool was clean and tidy nice bar area the food at breakfast time you can’t go wrong

We arrived at Rio Park at 11 am, room not ready until 2pm went to bar to wait and have a drink , Rafa served us i gave him a 20Euro note he gave me change of a 10euro, when i realised the prices ,i went back to complain they said they would check cctv i said please do i will wait her… more

We arrived at Rio Park at 11 am, room not ready until 2pm went to bar to wait and have a drink , Rafa served us i gave him a 20Euro note he gave me change of a 10euro, when i realised the prices ,i went back to complain they said they would check cctv i said please do i will wait here ! they gave me a ten euro note, we had been in the hotel for less than an hour , a good start to the holiday, but it got better, we had a room with a pool view, plenty of shampoo body wash etc in room TV has BBC1, 2, ITV so no problem keeping up with the news Kettle and cups in room but tea sugar milk an extra 3.50 euro per day We had a drink package 4euro per person per day but you can only use it in the dining room !! food good but warm food put on cold plates, but 2 microwaves there not used very often ! no dress code !, entertainment good most of the staff excellent Hotel 15 mins from sea

Overall a very good hotel with the staff a credit to the hotel.to start with this was our first time at the Rio park we stayed for seven nights full board for only £830 with TUI so room safe was free check in was quick and finding room was easy the room was very clean and had fridge and kettle and a decent size ..the lifts are slow I must say we was 4 th floor so not to bad walking down stairs..the pool area is quite large and had plenty of sun loungers (only small gripe is you can't adjust them )the main bar entertainment area has plenty of seating and done a special 5 bottles beer only 12 euro ..must say the spirits are very expensive .it is well laid out for watching sport with large TV.s in main bar terrace and sports bar..we'll set up for world cup lol..the entertainment at night was of good standard with decent acts.tyen when that finished the sports bar gad an act on that was of good standard and open til 2am..the food was always warm and was always being topped up..we are fussy eaters but always managed to get something.i must say the bottles of water was expensive 3 euro and done 3 wine glasses..I think 2 euro would be ok.overall the hotel was a pleasant stay I must mention the young lady at reception Ishita who dealt with our small problem superbly and is so pleasant and always smiling a very nice lady an asset to the hotel..if you are looking a low floor when emailing hotel state first floor or second as we requested low floor and was given the fourth floor was enquiring I was told hotel class floors one to four low floor so worth noting ..on closing would like to say we will definitely be back thank you all staff at the Rio park

“Gone downhill”

Just returned from this hotel ,certainly gone down in the last few years,although the cleaners are in the room everyday doing their best,the shower was awful ,there are certain rude staff that don't care,the lifts are a joke ,had to walk down 9 flights of steps everyday ,medplayer need too up there… more

Just returned from this hotel ,certainly gone down in the last few years,although the cleaners are in the room everyday doing their best,the shower was awful ,there are certain rude staff that don't care,the lifts are a joke ,had to walk down 9 flights of steps everyday ,medplayer need too up there game as many people will avoid this place especially the elderly due to these lifts!!! Food was almost same everyday, and they guy frying the eggs thinks he's funny by cracking the egg open and breaking every egg that he puts on the hotplate,also heard ⁸of a few mugging outside of hotel which is not the hotels fault,also don't buy the draught lager its flat and been watered down!!!!!
