We stayed here in July as a family of 16! Its a resort rather than just a hotel so has a much more livelier vibe. There is plenty of entertainment for kids and adults during the day and the aqua fit is very popular with at least 50 people taking part for an hour each day. There are 2 main pools, one shallower and easy for kids to stand in and the other deeper. Never an issue for sunbeds. There are stacks of them and of chairs and tables where you can just help yourself and place wherever you want. Naturally the spaces by the pool fill up quickly. We stayed all inclusive. For me the evening food was just ok, but I guess no more different than most lower budget AI food. The snack bar was fantastic. Burgers, nuggets, Hotdogs, chip, wings, pizza all warm and fresh. However the toasties were undercooked and generally dry. Pool bar open from 11 until 6. If you are all inclusive then branded spirits are included as are ice creams. There is generally a queue there but the team get through it pretty quick. The evening bar is the similar. For me the entertainment, which is outside, was ok but not amazing. Normally on a 2 week holiday there is a 2 week entertainment cycle so you see different acts each week, however that wasn't the case here and each week was the same. It was quite stop start as well as people queued up to have photos with the snakes or parrots so the entertainment stopped. Rooms were standard rooms, air conditioning was really good. Outside the hotel there is a fair few shops and restaurants. Its a very different vibe from say Benidorm, this area caters more for the locals and European visitors as opposed to the English. Opposite the hotel was an Irish bar which showed all sport and had a great vibe in the evening. Should you want a taxi to benidorm the hotel will ring for you but you could be waiting a while. An Uber can cost from 5 to 25 euros depending on demand but there is a taxi rank at the side of the hotel. All in a decent break. Probably wouldn't return only because of the area.

We got to the hotel at approx 2am last Saturday morning. Obviously we were all shattered. Arrived in the room and the air con was broken with only one member of staff working the whole hotel. He was clearly stressed but eventually found us a new room which was beautifully cold so we moved and eventually got to sleep around 3.30am. Unpacked and made our way to the pool, and within an hour or so got a phone call to say the air con was fixed in our original room and we had to move back!! Obviously I wasn’t impressed at the time but agreed to it as a family who needed ground floor access were arriving within a few hours. My eldest son came to help me pack and got stung by a wasp, had a quite bad reaction but eventually the pain and swelling subsided and we went back to the pool… you can forgive me for thinking with all of this happening in the first 15-16 hours we were in for a disaster of a week. My first impressions were that rooms are a little dated, hotel could do with a spruce up in areas, but for the price we paid we didn’t expect The Palm and we only spend time in the room to shower and sleep so nothing I was going to moan about. After the wasp sting we’ve had a really good holiday. The animation team are excellent. Always smiling despite the heatwave and not stopping, always interacting and having a laugh with guests. Water volleyball got a bit competitive at times but the staff managed it brilliantly following arguments with some people wanting to play high standard rules in a holiday pool instead of having a daft fun game. The alcohol is good, probably the best all inclusive options I think I’ve seen in Spain. I normally can’t get drunk off AI booze but this did the trick on the days I decided I wanted to have a session. Tequila Rose included in all inclusive also 😬 Food is ok, we’ve managed to eat every night int he restaurant without having to eat out. We were worried with it being seafood night on Thursdays but the steak chips and gravy was actually beauty. Gravy was next level. The kids have struggled some nights to eat but with the heat they haven’t been overly bothered. The poolside snack bar is very good. Pizzas are unreal, burgers very nice and generally well stocked and staffed. Once again the staff didn’t stop. We booked the bbq night for one of the nights which was ok but wasn’t enough for 4 of us so we ended up back in the restaurant for a little more scran. We were lucky enough to be here for the World Cup final which was a class experience. Partying til 1am in the pool with the Spanish residents of the hotel, all chatting and celebrating together. Had 2 trips into Benidorm to watch tribute acts. Liam Gallagher at Western Saloon (for our son’s 13th birthday) and Michael Jackson at Talk of the Coast. Both allow under 16s into the earlier shows and were worth the taxi fare (about 25€ return per trip Wasps are a big issue. They are attracted to the strawberry slushes that the kids all seem to be addicted to. A lot of people aren’t cleaning up after themselves and leaving empty cups, food etc round the sunbeds and pool and staff are already running round like headless chickens so struggle to keep on top of it. Maybe if people were a bit more respectful the wasps wouldn’t bother everyone so much. The two best things about this place… The pool is open with a lifeguard on duty til midnight every night. This is a game changer for the kids and we’ve spent most nights in there til closing. But the very best thing is the staff. They work extremely hard in brutal heat. People complain about the queues and yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit of time to get served, but put yourself in their shoes. Big shout out to Aaron and Nahir who work the bars. They always made the effort to chat with me and my kids, as did Pavel, Luis and others I can’t remember he name of. They make a great team and are always smiling despite working themselves into the ground every day and night! And finally, my youngest was made to feel very special last night dressed in his Michael Jackson costume. The entertainment team at the White Party made his holiday one he’ll never forget by getting him to dance on stage and throwing him in the air to celebrate how good he was with his moonwalk 😆 Overall really enjoyed the week here. Would I return? Yes if the deal was right, absolutely.

Hi I was in Albir garden resort in July The resort looks nice ,in fact it is old . or would be nice to start think about some renovations Sofa bed had some damage on the material. The mose annoying think was leaking shower from the base.i would say the seal around glass needs to be re done. the water was going on the floor every time we were taking shower. The restaurant looks nice but the food was just ok Salad not great.Cucumber was so dry ,as it was cut much earlier and left without cover. beetroot and carrot awful. Also I didn't understand why we could use coffee machine at the lunch time ,was only of r the breakfast or juice machine .The lady said I have to pay. I paid enough for full board. Animation stuff was great ,full of energy and very funny really enjoyed the aqua aerobics and volleyball was very good.

We've just got home from a week Albir Garden resort, what a great place for kids of all ages, staff are friendly and welcoming, the entertainment staff are brilliant getting people to join in with activities and the water park is fabulous, no extra charge for this, would highly recommend a visit, it's location is a bit of a walk to the beach, but we got a taxi costed us €6.20, the beach is pebbly and sunbeds are €7 each, which is a bit expensive. It's also close to shops and bars if you want to go out, but the all inclusive plus drinks were more than adequate for us, some premium largers and ciders and cocktails werent on the all inclusive deal, there is a 4 drink limit per person, but we went in 2s to the bar, alot of people were using drink carriers etc. Only downside for us, it was a very busy time, and for meal times and pool bars, the queues for drinks were long, although staff did try to get through the queues as quickly as possible, and clear the tables, I suggest going at a quieter time if you dont like queuing for food and drinks, the pool area was great, no saving of sunbeds allowed, one of us went down early to secure sunbeds and we stayed there for most of the day, plenty of loungers and chairs etc, you can also put chairs and sunloungers on the garden if you wanted to. Pool areas and rooms were cleaned daily, groundstaff always around, and maids were friendly, the rooms were OK, a bit old fashioned, but ours had a new bathroom fitted and a nice balcony with chairs and a table, plenty of things to do, we watched Spain win the world Cup and celebrated with the Spanish. Excellent facilities. Food was nice, lots of choices, something for everyone, and gluten free options, available. Would go back, but when it's not so busy. Excellent value for money, as we went with Jet2 and got 3 free child places.

We stayed all-inclusive at the resort for 10 days in July 2026 as a family of four, with 2 young kids aged 9 and 6. Overall, we had a really good time and I’ve tried to be as factual as possible in my review. Starting with the positives: The resort was situated further out than Benidorm (which looked absolutely bonkers when we travelled through it to get there). We were really glad and extremely relieved to be away from all that madness with our young kids! First impressions of the hotel were good, the reception area seemed quite pleasant and the staff nice. We arrived pretty early so our room was not ready. We were able to leave our bags in a safe area and were free to immediately use the resort’s amenities (restaurant, bars, snacks etc) if we wanted to. Our room was ready earlier than expected and we were quite relieved to be staying in one of the outer apartment blocks, rather than one close to the central pool and entertainment area (which we quickly learned gets very loud at night). The apartment had sufficient room for our family. The beds were comfy and the air con was LOVELY. Shower worked fine and the kitchenette was alright as well. The room was clean and the maid service was fairly regular, with beds made up and clean towels and sheets. On the one occasion the maids did not leave us any fresh towels, a quick trip to the reception area and it was immediately sorted by some lovely front desk staff. A quick look on the maps showed we were about a 10 minute drive (approx 30 minute walk) from the nearest beach, although we never ventured far from the resort during our stay. The surrounding area was beautiful - some spectacular mountains and lovely greenery around the resort (palm trees, lime trees and grass). The resort is tailored heavily towards families, with plenty going on! The Aquapark on site was a big hit with our kids and we spent most days there having fun. The slides were incredibly fun and our kids spent hours and hours enjoying themselves here. The main pool area was fairly busy most days - we were just about able to get sunbeds each time we used these pools. Most families were down here quite early reserving sunbeds with towels before breakfast, but we just chanced it later on and always found somewhere eventually. The restaurant had a great selection of food every meal time. We loved the breakfasts and the themed evening meals. There was an ok selection of food for the kids (ours can be quite fussy sometimes but managed to eat something every meal). The desserts were particularly nice! The snack bar by the pool was brilliant and we used this most days for lunch. Pizzas, hot dogs and burgers were all delicious, plenty of soft drinks and beer on tap, and the queues were never too long. The other bar serving drinks and ice creams tended to have a slightly longer queue but it wasn’t too bad. The majority of the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. There were a lot of activities going on in the main pool area throughout the day which looked like great fun (though having young kids, we generally didn’t get involved in these). The evening entertainment was ok. The classic Mini Disco for kids was fun and we saw a few shows (the kids’ favourites were the Disney show, the magician, and the animal shows). The Lego Club at the hotel was a massive unexpected bonus - a HUGE hit with the kids who went a few times during our stay and loved the experience. Highly recommend signing up for this. There was a supermarket across the street for us to buy water and snacks for the room and there was also a pharmacy just down the road (I needed to buy decongestants on one day and it was easy to find). There was also a shop called Bazaar Asia selling useful items such as pool noodles, crocs (one of our kids broke his) and drinks carriers (VERY useful for our trips to the drinks bar in the resort). Here are some negative points: Despite being very clean and spacious, the apartment was a little dated, lots of scuffs and broken bits and bobs, and could probably do with a bit of a refurb at some point. Nothing too bad though (nicer than a lot of places I’ve seen). The resort was EXTREMELY busy. I would not recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. We had great fun, however there were a lot of older and more boisterous kids pushing and shoving their way round on most days. During our final couple of days at the resort, it got absolutely chaotic at times and the Aquapark got ram-packed, with lots of misbehaving older kids - the life guards were blowing their whistles every 30 seconds and it did not feel safe for our youngest child to be on the apparatus at one point. Despite the beautiful food, the restaurant was just absolute chaos. On some nights it was like a free-for-all, with people walking in all directions and trying to get to the food, and on several occasions, kids running around. It is a 500 capacity buffet style restaurant with plenty of seating but it was so noisy and uncomfortable at times, we just got up and left as we couldn’t hear conversations at our own table. For some reason, all the drinks machines were turned off at lunchtime and evening dinner, so everyone had to queue at a small bar at the back. This was probably the least enjoyable part of our holiday experience just due to the sheer volume of people using the restaurant. Quite tricky with young kids. By the end of the holiday it felt like “School Dinners”. On the last couple of days, some particularly noisy families moved into our apartment block and you could hear every single chair scrape and door and bang and scream and tantrum through the floors and walls which made sleeping quite difficult. Again, to be expected in a busy family resort. Maybe some signs up asking people to respect other families late at night would be a good idea? Overall, we had a fun time and would like to thank all the staff we encountered for being so nice.
