We are currently staying in this apartment complex and are due to leave tomorrow. We had already arrived in Spain and were looking for somewhere for a couple of nights. I found these apartments and booked through booking.com and was in the apartment within an hour. The owner was very welcoming, and apologised for not answering an email I sent just prior to booking ... however he still answered within an hour of me sending the mail and I did receive it before we arrived there!! Right now onto business. The apartment block is situated a few streets back from the seafront, it says it’s 2 minute walk and that’s very accurate for a normal pace. There is no private parking on site but plenty of street parking directly outside, we parked straight up. On arrival We were shown to our apartment on the second floor, there is lift access to all floors. The very friendly owner took the time to show us around the apartment, how things worked and so on. Now onto the apartment itself... the apartment is spotless and I mean spotless! I have stayed in 5 star hotels and the cleanliness easily rivals those. Even the toilet brush was spotless, I always check the toilet brush no matter where I stay! The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob and oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine toaster and fridge/freezer, it even has a washing machine that came in very handy. It has a bathroom with bath and shower and although compact, is appropriate for needs. There are 2 bedrooms and the beds are very comfortable. I’m not a great sleeper and always wake 2 or 3 times a night .... I slept for 10 hours solid, something I haven’t done for a while. The apartment itself is exceptionally good value for money. There are lots of shops, bars and amenities within walking distance. Only a couple of cons and by no means did this have any impact on our stay... there were no English channels on the tv, this wasn’t too much of a problem as there is WiFi throughout so we just connected out iPad and phones and watched Netflix and catch up tv. The building is non smoking, again not a problem as I never smoke indoors even at home, however there isn’t a balcony so it meant a trip downstairs every time I wanted to light up, as a fairly heavy smoker I went up and down plenty of times lol. There is some noise from neighbours but no more than you would get in a hotel, mainly chairs being moved or doors being closed, having said that remember I slept solid so have not been woke by this. Overall this is an excellent property and excellent value and we would defiantly stay here again should we visit Torrevieja again.

Luckily we were on 5th floor so this wasn't much of an issue,but it's not ideal. -We had no hot water after we had showers There was only 2 of us who had quick showers We called & someone came to look at it, said they’d be back in 10 mins and didn't return so again not ideal but we was only there for 1 night so it didn’t have much impact as we was out most of the time. FYI Parking is difficult during busy times as it’s a busy area to be expected. We found a space outside straight away when we arrived but when we went out later on, it took us a good 45 mins to find a space which ended up being quite some way around the corner from the hotel. Overall was good, price was decent, location was great, a little shop a few doors down

“Be careful what you book! ”

When we booked with love holidays we were informed that all rooms have a kitchenette, but if you book room only all you get is a room with a rail for clothes and a bathroom. Not even a kettle. When we booked with love holidays we were informed that all rooms have a kitchenette, but if you book room only all you get is a room with a rail for clothes and a bathroom. Not even a kettle. The room had chipped flooring and damaged skirting and trim. We went to reception and requested an upgraide which cost 40€ and took 2 days to sort. Worth every penny. Lovely 1 bed appartment Above a bar, but great for people watching! Didn't see a maid or have towels etc changed once all week. You have to take your own rubbish to the bins at the far end of the car park! Not a problem as we changed rooms half way through. Local restaurants superb. Nautic and Moby Dick excellent value for money. Ship Inn great Brit bar. Reception is a shocker but some staff really helpful. Just make sure you book self catering or an appartment, not room only! Also be aware there is a 100€ security deposit and a deposit for the pool key. Don't throw away your paperwork or you lose the deposit!
