“Enjoyed our stay”

We were here for 3 weeks. It is classified as 3 star and it is 20 years old so it isn't going to be perfect. What is perfect is the location. The hotel gardens and pool front onto a beautiful stretch of sand with crystal clear waters. It is only a short walk to restaurants, bars and supermarkets and tuk tuk drivers wait just outside the hotel to take you farer away. We stayed in a standard room which are located at the front of the hotel farest away from the beach. Most of these rooms look out on a lovely enclosed garden area, but rooms numbered 1000 look out over the car park area at the front of the hotel so when booking ask for rooms numbered in the 3000's. The room was a good size with a king size bed (which we found a bit hard), wardrobe, desk area and wardrobe. Balcony with two chairs and a table. The bedding was a good quality cotton and the towels are old but perfectly clean and changed daily. There is a hairdryer but it is ancient and attached to the wall near the desk/mirror. I would recommend taking your own. There were only 6 coathangers in the wardrobe. There is a fridge in the room and 2 small bottles of water are provided daily The bathroom was large. The shower is very old and the water runs through a heater box so the pressure was very low. Also the sink only has a cold tap. The restaurant area is not great to look at. Food was ok though. Tea and Coffee, and fruit cordials (not fresh juice), toaster, breads, pastries and cereals. Yoghurt and fresh fruit. Small salad bar, hot options of european and thai food some of which changed daily. There is also an egg station for omelettes, etc. There is a beach bar/restaurant at the hotel. We never used it because just to the right of the hotel there is a bar restaurant which is much cheaper. The pool area is lovely but when the hotel is full there are not enough sunbeds and shaded areas are at a premium because the umbrellas do not provide enough shade. The staff are excellent. Notwithstanding the slightly negative comments we loved our stay and would return

“Nice Hotel”

Lovely hotel, located directly on Long beach. You have the option of going in the calm, pristine clean waters of the sea or use the beautiful pool. Lovely hotel, located directly on Long beach. You have the option of going in the calm, pristine clean waters of the sea or use the beautiful pool. The grounds are immaculate and tended to every day, i.e. there is no litter etc.... The staff are very friendly, especially those at reception, who always say, "Good morning". Breakfast is simple and nice, with a good egg station. The only thing missing was cheese! There are no lifts at the hotel, but plenty of slopes/ramps. A porter is always on hand to take your luggage to/from your room. Rooms are adequate, but wi-fi can be intermittent. Also, there are no English speaking TV channels (But, who watches TV on holiday). There is a good tuk-tuk and taxi service just in front of the hotel, but you can easily walk to the nearby bars and restaurants. The only problem with the hotel, are the sunbed grabbers in the morning. Some people were up every day at 6am to put their towels out, using torches!!!!

The Wifi is really unreliable and you have to change between the numerous networks all the time. The staff is well intended but lacks flexibility or a proper training. A lot of employees but many are here to learn. The restaurant is not great.
