My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights . The hotel is central in Ao nang, a short walk approx 10 mins to the beach. We had a swim out room which was absolutely gorgeous! Traditional Thai style decor. Spacious bathroom. Loungers on the balcony with pool towels. The room was cleaned daily. The staff were lovely, really happy and welcoming. The breakfast is fairly basic, you are not going to get an English breakfast here! There was always Thai food noodles/ curry, pastries, bread and an egg station where they cooked nice omelettes. Plenty of fresh fruit and cereals. No complaints from me! We loved this hotel and felt it was really good value for money. Highly recommended.

To be honest this was not the resort I would have booked. But due to a mixup in my first booking for the Villa resort I somehow ended up with the village resort. To be honest this was not the resort I would have booked. But due to a mixup in my first booking for the Villa resort I somehow ended up with the village resort. I was able to cancel the resort but not the flights. The orchid was the only one near the beach so here I am. My booking was 2 nights in a pool villa and 3 in the pool view. The pool villa . I will start with reception, no problems at all the ladies where friendly polite and very helpful, luggage taken to your room again helpful guy showed us where everything was. The furniture is very dated dark wood that doesn't help with the lighting, room was clean no musty smells as some have mentioned AC was good not noisy. Very good Bathroom modern suite, big walk in shower cubicle with glass door, jacuzzi bath wash basin w.c and no shortage of hot water. The lighting is not very good being the only fault. The bed is comfortable with 2 pillows each, coffee tea and free water. Good wifi with each room having its own router, Balcony with a direct walk into the pool. Now the poolview rooms same decor same cleanliness same comfortable bed only 1 pillow, much older AC but not overly noisy and does the job. Bathroom modern suit no separate shower stand in the bath caution advised getting in and out. Again no problems the water pressure and the water is hot. The lighting is much better in these rooms. The restaurant, breakfast nothing special the usual drinks tea coffee etc fruit yoghurt cereal confectionary there is a good egg counter eggs to order. Everything else is Thai and Halal food rice noodles soup etc I tried the chicken (bacon??) and chicken sausage cold and not for me. Enough till its lunch time. It might be added that this hotels price range away from this time of year is 1800 baht per night with breakfast £42.00. That makes it a reasonably priced resort. I had to pay the going rate for all hotel at this time of the year 7800.baht £184.00 per night. It's over to you now i hope this was helpful. I forgot to mention there are rooms to the front street or car park view . Apparently the street facing should be avoided. 1
