Me and my friend just checked out from Banyan Tree Krabi and we can honestly say this was one of the best stays we have ever had. What impressed us started from the very first moment. Before we even asked for check-in, the team welcomed us with “Welcome back.” It may sound simple, but it immediately made us feel recognized and truly welcomed. Another memorable experience was during dinner at The Naka Restaurant. A staff member named Saina (if I remembered the name correctly) welcomed me and my friend with “Welcome back” right when we arrived at the restaurant. During the dinner, she provided excellent service. We could really feel that she service us from her heart. Every recommendation felt sincere, and she always checked on us if there was anything else she could help with. Her hospitality made the whole dining experience even more special. The breakfast also great, the team was amazing. Ying, Yim Yam, Pom, Bie, and many other team members whose names I could not remember took such good care of us. They always offered help before we even had to ask. Sometimes, we barely had to leave our seats because they approached and offer the service. Thank you to everyone for making this stay so memorable. We will definitely come back again and I would highly recommend Banyan Tree Krabi to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and excellent service.

My best friend and I just came back from another wonderful 4 nights at Banyan Tree Krabi. Our last trip was in Aug 24 also for 4 nights and they gave us the SAME room that we stayed in. The staff from reception, to the restaurants ( Saffron and Naga Kitchen) , the spa, the hospitality staff who helped us with the bags all welcomed us with : WELCOME BACK. Even our pillow covers had the words : “Welcome Back HOME”. I mean wow. I was thinking ( when we were greeted during bfast with WELCOME BACK) : HOW DO THEY KNOW? 😊This shows to me that staff made the effort to look up and remember returning guests, and that is really something we were very impressed with. This time, before we even arrived, we were sent an email about our preferences like what sort of bedsheets, pillows and other things we would like. I highly recommend the buckwheat pillow. Very comfortable and good support for oldies 😊 My friend and I loved the buckwheat pillow that we wanted to buy it but sadly it’s not for sale as it is made in house for Banyan Tree only. During check in, we were given the option of buying SPA and F&B Credits. So we chose the option of paying: 10,000THB for 13,000THB worth of credits for F&B 7,000THB for 9,000 THB worth of credits for SPA. Since we knew we were going to spend most of our time at the resort, this is fine for us and well worth it. This offer is only available at check in and not after. Take note of this condition. Now, I would perhaps suggest to Banyan Tree Krabi that you would practice a little bit of flexibility ( Maybe give guests a time of say 6 hours after check in before offer lapses) on this because there may be cases that you get guests travelling from very far away who are very tired and all they want to do is check in; they don’t have the mental capacity to consider whether this offer is suitable for them. There is a high chance that they would feel pressured to purchase the credits without full consideration, this would not give a good impression of the resort. For my friend and I, as our flight is a mere 1.5 hours away we arrived bright and chirpy; we are able to think properly before committing during our check in that we are fine with it and found it good value. We took the free shuttle to Krabi Town / Ao Nang beach ( leaves resort at 11am , drop off at Starbucks and pick up from the Starbucks is at 4pm) but do inform the reception that you would like seats on the shuttle as it’s limited. As it was raining ALLOT during the few days we were there, it was pure luck that it was sunny during the first few hours on the day we went to the town. Lots of shops and eateries and Ao Nang Beach is really nice to walk along. Complimentary shuttle is a nice service provided by the resort. The driver, Virad was most accommodating and friendly. He was sharing information about Ao Nang, and the different landmarks that we were passing by to my friend who was seated next to him on the way back to the hotel. Giving her interesting tibits and information about things. We also met him whenever we called for buggy to go spa or restaurant. He always greeted us with a smile and chit chatted with us all the time. Virad, you are a gem! I would say 95% of the staff whom we saw from housekeeping, to the staff cleaning the walkways, pruning the trees, wait staff, reception staff etc ALL greeted us with a smile and Sawadeeka (I hope I spelt that right) and we would respond right back with heelloo. I said it before 2 years ago and I say it again, the STAFF , the SERVICE is what makes this resort shine. I met 2 other older ladies this trip and they said the same thing, the customer service is beyond awesome. When we had our first breakfast , our hostess this time called Naydra? ( sorry if I got the name spelt wrong) came up to our table and talked to us. Telling us she remembered my Jet pool experience ( it was a strong smell of chlorine that I had feedback to them 2 years ago which I had detailed in a prior TA review) and how her manager had told her to make sure this time the chlorine levels in our pools are not so high like last time so that there is no repeat ! she mentioned to us to use the Banyan Tree Whatsapp channel to ping her for ANYTHING. When we met her again the day after a thunderstorm, she enquired whether we were caught in that sudden deluge as she knew we had taken the shuttle to the town. Can you beat this service?! Thank you Naydra for your care and concern. Food at the resort is still top notch. Due to the rain, we didn’t go to the Beach bar so we stuck to Naga Kitchen and we had dinner 3 times at Saffron over the 4 nights there. Yes it’s expensive but the quality and taste is just.. yums. For breakfast and Naga Kitchen, the staff sometimes walked around with a tray of small bites that’s not available from the buffet for people to try. The Executive chef was walking around during the breakfast buffet introducing himself and asking for feedback about the food. Nice. Everything was great EXCEPT for one little dish of the fresh rolls that didn’t really suit my friend’s palate. I didn’t try that so I wouldn’t know. OVERALL was still yummy. Fresh coconuts, champagne, wine, fresh juices, milk, cereals, cheeses, gelato, hot food (not a huge selection but good enough, you can order or ask for something and they WILL cook it for you within reason), an egg station with 6? different options and an egg of the day, breads and dessert ( there is honey comb!) area. There is gluten free section for those who need it. The staff ALSO remembered our coffee orders for the next 3 breakfasts after we made it during the 1st time. The second they saw us ; Hot Mocha and Latte? 😉 We had one dinner at Naga Kitchen whereby we had the Andaman Seafood platter. Very tasty but the lobster was a touch small for the price to be honest. Mussels were NOT rubbery but fresh and easy to eat. Scallops were also well cooked. Prawns were nice. Corn was crunchy. The seafood platter came with fries which were those big chunky ones , yummy! Mango salad also fresh and very appetizing. Cannot go wrong! Safron has remained just as nice as we remembered. However the soup portions still as generous SEEM to be slightly smaller than we remembered it from 2 years ago. I looked at the pictures I took 2 years ago and it APPEARS smaller but I have a feeling it’s just the size of the bowl, the contents seem the same just the amount of soup could be a bit less. TASTE WISE it’s still just as awesome as I remembered it. I loved their Tom Kha Gai ( Love the coconut cream based soup) from 2 years ago and I had it every time I had dinner there whilst my friend had her Tom yum Goong. Both never fails. The steamed Sea bass, beef dishes ( Masaman curry and stir fried one), chicken green curry were all chefs kiss. Mango Sticky rice also yums. On our last night, the staff there gave us a sweet momento of a Thai Sarong each as a thank you for our patronage. It was a lovely surprise. With regards to spa, I had my massages done by this lady called ICE ( she was also manning the complimentary neck and shoulder 10 mins massage outside the breakfast area during our last morning) and she is GOOD. I love the way she massaged my back , neck and head. I had initially only wanted to do one round of spa but after she gave me my 1 hour massage, I decided to do ANOTHER round with her. The pressure , speed and just the way she could press out the aches and knots totally suited me. I highly recommend ICE to anyone who wants a good massage. THANK YOU ICE!! My friend had a facial done which she said was so satisfying she fell asleep 😊 However she didn’t have a good experience during her 2nd spa appointment as she mentioned that she was being disturbed by the number of people walking in and out to get items. This was the only negative of her 2nd round when she was doing her hands and feet therapy. She couldn’t relax and not as peaceful as her first experience during the facial which was top notch. Our premium ocean view pool room is still very well maintained. Housekeeping always does a fantastic job cleaning and keeping the place spik and span. The turn down service always leaves a gift nightly. We had a Banyan tree turtle recyclable bag ( very cute and something that we can use), a pillow spray, a laundry bag and a wax candle which we used on the night we got it. WE also had a very pretty green banyan tree fabric fan that was a welcome gift. The very friendly staff who did housekeeping and turn down service also definitely deserves a mention for their good work. Overall this trip reflected the consistent and high standards of care and consideration of the resort. We couldn’t have a late check out but like last trip in 24 they provided us with a fully airconed resting room to wait in which was very comfortable with a nice big sofa, huge TV ( with Netflix etc), toilets just outside. I asked for water and they gave us a few complimentary cans 😊 I recall the gentlemen FRUK at Reception offered all of us water when we were taking the shuttle to the town. He also attended to us at check out, he asked whether we would come back again. So Banyan tree Krabi, We would love to come back but maybe in 2028. Every 2 years. Hopefully so!

As an external guest who has visited this property several times with both friends and my partner, I wanted to take the moment to share my experiences and highlight the outstanding team members in each department The front office staff are always incredibly attentive whenever I visit. They are constantly willing to help, escort us around, and take lovely photos for me. A huge thank you to Phoom, Tarn, Summer, and Guy as well as the other team members whose names I didn't manage to mention! Naga: The food is average for a luxury hotel which is quite good and the restaurant has a lovely, welcoming ambiance. We were particularly impressed with the service, with a special thanks to Saina for taking such great care of us. Bird's Nest: This is a stunning location with a breathtaking view. While it can get a bit too warm for afternoon tea, we really appreciated that fans were provided in the nest, making the heat perfectly manageable. A special thank you to M for being so attentive and providing top-tier service. Saffron: We had a truly lovely and unforgettable night here, from start to finish. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced for both Thai locals and foreign guests. I highly recommend the fried squid with garlic served with squid ink, it is a 10/10 dish. A huge shoutout to Rio and Ann for their exceptional service. Bar: I can confidently say the cocktails here are the best. The mixologists can craft custom drinks tailored exactly to your taste. The staff are incredibly friendly and fun, especially Ton, Dao, and Khem who made our time there so enjoyable. Spa: I was impressed from the moment I walked into reception, thanks to the warm welcome from Bambi and Subhass. Having experienced many Banyan Tree spas around the Asia, I can say this is easily one of the best. The massage experience was completely calming and relaxing, and my therapist Lita knew exactly what techniques we needed. Rainforest: This is a signature experience that is an absolute must try. The interior design and lighting are beautiful. Laila gave us clear, helpful instructions before giving us total privacy for our session. My absolute favorite part was the large, warm plunge pool with all its different hydrotherapy functions, it was incredibly fun. If I have the chance, I will definitely return. Thank you so much to the entire Banyan Tree team for all your hard work and dedication. I truly appreciate it!
