I’ve just got back from a week in Ao Nang and wished I had more time to spend here, I stayed at the Deevana Plaza Krabi Ao Nang mainly on the reviews I read on here, it was all it should be, so let me break it down into key areas for you. Room: I booked a standard room which was not that far to walk to from reception, the grounds are lovely as it’s full of trees & fauna, right outside my room was a small pool which was very handy. The room had a nice large comfortable bed, air-con, fridge, separate toilet room, walk in shower room, good sized TV, spare sheets etc, Coffee machine, plenty of plug sockets but no USB outlets so you need an adapter, I had no drawers or wardrobe, basically no furniture apart from a hanging pole with a few hangers on it, thought it was a bit different so I made do with what I had for a week. The bed could have slept 4 people, the Wi-Fi was good but you have to log back in a few times, Air-Con was good, TV I didn’t watch that much as there’s nothing to see in English. Food & Dining: My bundle was Bed & Breakfast which is very close by to my room, literally 40 second walk. The food was very good with plenty of dishes on offer from Fried Eggs & Omelettes to Curries & Fish, plenty of Fruit & Veg too, the Coffee machines are a little slow so when there’s a queue you may be in for a few minutes wait for a coffee. Breakfast is open from 6.30am to 10.00 Location: The location is very good as the Hotel is only around 30-40 mins from Krabi airport, it’s situated just back of the main seafront road in Ao Nang, so you have a few minutes walk from the hotel and you have Noppharat Beach to the right & Ao Nang Beach to the left, plenty of shops, restaurants, excursions booths, money exchange are all close by. All said I had a great week at Deevana Plaza and the reviews were true to their word, very nice place to stay, everything you need is on your doorstep, the rooms and the food are both very good, staff are all friendly & helpful, I’d go back again for sure 👍🏼

“Nice hotel”

Very nice hotel. Room is huge and very modern. Mattress is just bit soft for my back. Bed is massive. The pools and breakfast were ok. Lobby is huge and check in and out was very easy. Friendly nice staff. This town has lots of Indians living and tourists.

“Very good”

A very good hotel, Western standards. Some of the staff speak communicative English which is good! The rooms are modern and clean, very nicely located. We liked the pools. Also the breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay in Deevana Resort.
