We stayed here for 4 nights. Room was lovely so clean and had a balcony. We asked for some chairs for our balcony if they were available and the staff brought them up to our room straight away! We stayed here for 4 nights. Room was lovely so clean and had a balcony. We asked for some chairs for our balcony if they were available and the staff brought them up to our room straight away! Bathroom was also spotless. Pool area is small with not alot of sun loungers so we didn’t spend much time here. Abit of a walk to the restaurants and bars but easily accessible to laundry services, bike rental etc. we also had breakfast which was good all mornings. Very quiet hotel no noise. Good value for money. Would recommend

“Worth the money”

So I was not to interested in this place after reading other people's reviews but after staying there the last 2 nights I loved it. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Abit off a walk to the beach but plenty of tax… more

So I was not to interested in this place after reading other people's reviews but after staying there the last 2 nights I loved it. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Abit off a walk to the beach but plenty of taxi's and tuktuks to catch a few good restaurants and bars close by. WiFi was great. Rooms not bad. Only downside was the shower pressure was non existent. Overall a great stay.

“Ahad Suite Aonang by Ma Hotel”

We booked and stayed for 23 nights from mid-Feb to March (through Expedia). We booked and stayed for 23 nights from mid-Feb to March (through Expedia). The hotel was fine, great room layout with included mini fridge, microwave and kettle, on demand rain shower with excellent water pressure. Staff were helpful with suggestions and the room cleaning ladies were excellent. Cons for some to consider away from main areas which required a long walk on a dark side road without sidewalks to beach area, restaurants and shopping. We rented a scooter so not a problem. Either the roosters or the local temple may wake you up before dawn, as this is a neighbourhood area. It did add to the uniqueness of the area but again could be annoying if a light sleeper. We found the upkeep around the pool to be very poor, and a few days the pool was green with algae (not useable). We couldn’t enjoy our pool side room terrace as much as we would have liked due to large travel and school groups staying here and using the pool as a playground (early mornings and late into the evenings). Out of the three hotels we stayed in Thailand this was the worse for wear, but we would consider staying here again knowing that this accommodation is not a resort and the price was great on our travel budget.
