A short first-time-in-Thailand stay at the start of December as a solo-traveler. This hotel is the first thing you see when you step out from the boat, which is very convenient for checking in and out (not having to drag your baggage under the sun in search of your hotel feels so good!). I had a small budget, so the room was on the cheaper side. First floor, small balcony with a pleasant garden view. Furniture was a bit used, but the bathroom seemed new. Close to the reception and restaurant, garden pool right outside my room, short walk to the beach - very convenient. The stuff was very nice and helpful, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Breakfast was included and pretty good, lots of breakfasty options + an egg station (whoever did my omelet that one time was a magician, really). And yes, the monkeys. They are pretty comfortable with people, so you better follow the hotels recommendations and close your doors (+ maybe make sure they can’t see your food) Overall I really enjoyed my experience and probably would come back if I ever decide to visit Krabi again.

We paid over the odds for this as a last minute decision to visit Railay, although the hotel looks nice on the pictures it’s a little rundown in areas, our furniture in the room was scratched and worn, the sink took hours to drain away and the cleaner had missed several key areas. The bedding was clean and the bed comfy but the quality of the bedding had lapsed as it was torn at the bottom and needed replacing, decent aircon although a little noisy. The reception staff were outstanding but in the restaurant they were indifferent. Breakfast was included but was very basic fare with the exception of the fresh bread and you had to write down your egg order if you wanted an omelette for example and you waited ages for it to arrive. Overall we wouldn’t return.

This hotel is in a good location for restaurants etc.. check in was lovely with a nice welcome drink and super staff. The room was good and spacious with everything we needed but somehow I found it ‘bland’ The breakfast was decent enough but you had to pay for a decent coffee (the free coffee was really bad) Pool areas were a little ‘bare’ My main gripe was the number of monkeys that were camped up on our balcony but that’s nature I suppose Nothing special about this hotel for me sadly

“Disappointing management handling at the end of our stay”

Our air conditioning did not work from the day we arrived. On day two we called at 10 pm, but it was not fixed. Our air conditioning did not work from the day we arrived. On day two we called at 10 pm, but it was not fixed. The next morning technicians had to replace the entire system, and we were unable to use our room for around 7 hours. During this time our room door was left open and unattended. A female manager was kind and understanding and offered compensation including late check-out, free airport transfer for our entire family, two free massages, and dinner for all seven of us. As we already had dinner plans, we asked for 1,000 THB per night in compensation instead. She said she would discuss this with the owner. The next day we met another manager, Boy, who immediately offered less than what had already been agreed and accused us of lying. It was clear that the correct agreement (free transfer for the whole family and late check-out) was already printed and ready, yet he still tried to deny it and reduce the compensation. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Clear promises were made and then deliberately walked back.
