“Good hotel with a nice pool”

We stayed 2 nights at Sriwilai and it was good. The rooms are nice and the pool is great. The only downside is the breakfast which is poor.

Located just outside of the Sukhothai Historic Park, this is quite a large resort in pleasant grounds. Located just outside of the Sukhothai Historic Park, this is quite a large resort in pleasant grounds. We were in a suite which are located away from most of the rooms, with a lovely private balcony, overlooking an old stupa. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and decent storage. Oddly the door on the wardrobe refused to stay open. The bathroom had a very large bath but the water pressure was so low that it was unused. Shower was fine. Breakfast was a very extensive buffet but other than the egg station a bit unappealing. But with a good coffee machine. Dinner was served from the bar and was pretty good. Staff were very helpful and polite. A nice place to stay if visiting Sukhothai.

This was a very nice hotel with a large pool surrounded by comfortable lounge beds, perfect for relaxing when not swimming or keeping an eye on children. This was a very nice hotel with a large pool surrounded by comfortable lounge beds, perfect for relaxing when not swimming or keeping an eye on children. We stayed in a suite located in a quieter area near only one other suite, which made it feel especially private. The room itself was very spacious, with a large bathroom that included both a shower and a soaking tub. The balcony was lovely and offered a beautiful view of nearby temple ruins. The attached restaurant served a buffet breakfast and other meals, though we found the food to be somewhat uninspiring. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, but perhaps not the best choice for your main meal.

Of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Laos and Thailand, this was the accommodation that fell below our expectations.
The resort itself has great potential, and both the internal gardens and the exterior are pleasant; however, the entire property is in need of renovation. Our Superior room on the second floor clearly required refurbishment: the windows were dirty, the bed was not particularly comfortable, and slippers and bathrobes were not provided unless paid for separately. As this is a four-star resort, we believe these amenities should have been included. We had a massage, and also the spa area looks dated and would need a complete renovation.
The restaurant was somewhat disappointing as well: both breakfast and dinner did not meet our expectations, Anna and Francesco -Italy
