ananea Beyond Khaolak had certainly exceeded my lofty expectations. The sprawling grounds are beautiful, as are the villas themselves. I booked the entry level Villa Garden and it was excellent and in top condition (maybe provide toothbrushes and more toiletries and amenities?). Buggy service was fast and efficient (maybe because it was low occupancy when I stayed), making it easy to move around. The beachfront pools are one of the best I have experienced - multiple large pools with strong jacuzzi jets all around, pools were immaculate and clean and surrounded by plenty of loungers which were well positioned to take advantage of the unspoilt, private coastline that ananea Beyond Khaolak enjoys. It faces the sunset directly making for beautiful evenings best enjoyed with icy cocktails either on the sun lounger or on the beach tables at the nextdoor beachbar. The only improvement I would hope for is easier access down to the beachlevel, as the pool itself is raised around 1m+ from the beachfront and the presence of many rocks and debris along the poolside to the beach made access difficult. We had to walk to either end of the pool or beachbar to be able to access the beach itself safely and comfortably, especially with kids in tow. Perhaps a ramp or two would help in this aspect while maintaining protection against the sea waves? finally, the staff were all excellent, friendly and responsive. The GM Nick was also responsive and humble, taking in my feedback about a bad experience over dinner at the BeachBar and providing excellent service recovery really fast. He runs a tight ship and it shows, and I noticed him roaming around the grounds quietly without a fuss and checking in on areas where feedback had been provided. Excellent resort, not sure if it will be as good during peak season with high occupancy but I am wishing the team and management all the best. the rebranding clearly worked wonders. PS: upgrading the soap/shampoo etc to something more visibly premium would significantly boost the guest experience. Coming from Avani+ Koh Lanta where we stayed 2 nights before arriving here, the toilet amenities and toiletries provided were not up to the standard I was expecting for a 5 star resort, and this should be a quick, easy and low-cost upgrade :) PSS: pls work on the F&B offerings at the beach bar if it is going to be the only all-day dining option on site. the chef really needs to be changed, or better trained. Not acceptable for such issues to be happening at such a beautiful premium resort.

Spa staff Gift was very warm and welcoming the entire time, I was served a sweet tea and cool towel as soon as I arrived and a warm ginger honey tea right after my massage. The massuer, Nam Fon paid attention to my request on specific areas of focus and did a great job in relaxing my sore muscles after workout. Recommend to visit if you are around.

We stayed at Ananea Beyond Resort in Khao Lak for ten nights in a Two-Bedroom Villa, and it was absolutely unforgettable. This resort is very special to us, as we got married here two years ago. Coming back after the renovation was wonderful. The villas have been beautifully renovated, with tasteful colours and a calm, elegant atmosphere. Our villa was directly by the sea — it really could not have been any closer to the ocean. We enjoyed every single moment, especially waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The little details made our stay even more special: in the evenings, we received lovely cards and a small midnight snack, almost like a sweet turndown surprise. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. You can feel that they truly care about their guests. For us, this was not just a holiday, but a beautiful return to a place full of memories. We would come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend Ananea Beyond Resort.
