We recently had another wonderful stay at JW Marriott Khao Lak, and once again, the resort exceeded our expectations. What makes this property truly special, however, is not just the beautiful setting or the facilities, it is the incredible people who go out of their way to make you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A very special mention to Chef Mohan, who went above and beyond throughout our entire stay and played a huge part in making it such an exceptional experience. From meeting us personally at check-in to looking after all our meals throughout the stay, Chef Mohan was always attentive, thoughtful and incredibly warm. He made us feel like we were being looked after by family rather than simply being hotel guests. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, and we are extremely grateful. Chef Krishna was another familiar and welcoming face who was always present during breakfast and made our mornings even more enjoyable. Our daughter had an absolutely fantastic time as well. She thoroughly enjoyed the pizza-making class with Chef Enzo, and the fun banter she had with him whenever we dined at Olive became one of the highlights of her stay. It was lovely to see how naturally the team connected with her and made her feel special. The Kids Club team also deserves a huge shout-out. They were amazing, and our daughter had such a wonderful time with them. It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was having so much fun and was in such good hands. Unfortunately, we had an unexpected pipe burst in our bathroom during our stay. While this was obviously an unforeseen and stressful situation, Pisamai handled it with tremendous care and professionalism. She took ownership of the situation and made sure we were looked after throughout the unexpected disruption. We really appreciated how calmly and thoughtfully she handled what could otherwise have been a very frustrating experience. Pla from F&B was absolutely fantastic as well. She was always approachable, responsive and happy to assist with any requests or questions we had throughout our stay. A special mention also goes to Tuen from Housekeeping, who was absolutely delightful. She made special towel animals for our daughter, which quickly became something our little one looked forward to discovering every time we returned to our room. These little personal touches are what make a stay memorable. We also had a lovely surprise when Fon, who was our housekeeper during our stay last year, recognised and remembered us when she saw us this time. What a memory! It was such a lovely moment and really demonstrated the genuine personal connection that the JW Marriott team builds with its guests. Cartoon from Guest Relations also deserves recognition for arranging a special surprise for our daughter. It was incredibly thoughtful and added another memorable moment to our holiday. A big thank you as well to the resort manager Vincent, who personally assisted us during check-in after we experienced a long wait upon arrival. He made sure everything was handled smoothly and that we received our room as quickly as possible. At Sala, Kookkai was exceptional. She always interacted warmly with us, remembered our preferences and consistently made us feel welcome. Her attention to detail and friendly personality really stood out. And finally, a very special shout-out to the wonderful team at the Beach Bar — Kaew, Boom, Pu, Aung and Partha. They were fantastic throughout our stay and contributed so much to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We have stayed at JW Marriott Khao Lak before, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is the people. There is something genuinely special about a team that remembers you, remembers your preferences, remembers your child and makes an effort to create personal moments rather than simply providing a service. Thank you to the entire JW Marriott Khao Lak team for another unforgettable stay. From the unexpected challenges to the wonderful experiences, we always felt that there was someone willing to help, listen and make things right. And that, more than anything, is what exceptional hospitality is all about.
