Amazing resort, so much to do and see and something for all ages, it was super simple to get between properties with the shuttles, the pools were amazing and the beaches were clean and easy to get to. The most memorable part is all of the sea life in the aquariums, we got up early to watch the shark and stingray feedings which was amazing. The only big qualm I have is the availability of affordable food options every meal was 100$ +. Another item of note is there is no gift shop/ sundries at Cove, you had to walk to the next property Reef to get bottled water or snacks. The rooms had great sound dampening and even though there was construction going on it was not disruptive. Overall, we would return to Atlantis, but would stay at the royal as it is more centrally located and had better amenities. Also, take the time to. Check out the straw market, the locals are lovely and you get unique hand made souvenirs. The best service and dining experience I have to give a shoutout to Carmine’s and Seafire for the most amazing Meals and staff. The value was definitely worth a repeat visit.

I will start off by saying my expectations may have been a little high, as we had only stayed at one other resort in The Bahamas. With as large as Atlantis is, I thought it would be similar to what we had experienced at the other resort. Our trip to Atlantis, we stayed at The Cove. The rooms are nice, but the adult only pool was under construction and finding a chair at the other pools around The Cove and The Reef was somewhat difficult due to people leaving towels to "reserve" the chairs. There were chairs around us each day that were never used while we were there. The GOOD We ate at Amber the first night because it was the only restaurant open when we checked in. We ate at the bar. I ordered a hamburger and my wife ordered the pizza. She received hers in a timely manner, but apparently the bartenders forgot I ordered. I had to finally ask them if the burger I could see was mine. The burger was average and my wife said the pizza was OK. The second night we at Nobu. The Bahamian Lobster tacos were small, but delicious. My wife had the Sea Bass and I had sushi, both were fantastic. Night 3 we dined at Fish. My wife had the Grouper, which she loved. I had the Ribeye, which was one of the best I have had in a while. I could actuall cut it with my fork. The servers at Nobu and Fish were attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend both restaurants to anyone. Starbucks at The Reef was reasonably priced. I expected higher prices being in the resort, but I think they were the same as those at home. The lazy river was a lot of fun and a must do while you are there. The Dig is a great experience. The Bad We ate breakfast at Perch 3 of the 5 days. The food was good, but service was poor. The service at Claudio's was non-existent. Once we ordered, the server never came back. The Bahamian Lobster Mac N' Cheese was decent, but for $48.00, it should have more lobster. My wife ordered the Grilled Salmon, which she eats almost daily, and said it was overcooked and did not finish it. We went to Seaglass a couple of nights. The first visit, I ordered their signature drink and was told they did not have the ingredients and could not make it. The second visit, we waited for approximately 10 minutes for a server to come to the table. Once he did, we asked for the drink menu. He never came back. I finally went to the bar and ordered. The server did bring us the drinks, but once finished, I had to go to the bar to pay as our server never came back. If you are planning a visit with children, I think you will have a great time, as this resort seems more tailored for the family adventure. We plan to go back with our granddaughter when she is older, but would not go again just the two of us.
