I had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Golf Beach & Spa. The hotel is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The location right by the sea is beautiful and very relaxing. The food is consistently great, available at all times, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a wide range of choices that include fish, meat, and many other delicious dishes. The animation team was amazing and very kind to me and my family. All the hotel staff were professional and attentive. The director, Mr. Riadh, was available 24 hours a day and personally made sure that every little detail or request was taken care of. The reception team was also very helpful and welcoming. The most important thing for me is the price, and that’s why I’m so positive about this hotel. To be honest, I’ve traveled to many countries around the world, and I always judge hotels based on both service and value. There might be other hotels that are “better” in some ways, but considering the price and the quality of service here, this hotel is top-notch.

Enjoyed our stay, The staff were wonderful, the entertainment and activity team were fantastic if you want to be kept going and enjoy loud music, if that's not what you want don't go here. Unfortunately the services of the Dr and the nurse in the small clinic attatched to the hotel were required when I slipped on the poolside and the following 5 days all our family had stomach upsets some needing antibiotics. We assumed it was from either the food, water or maybe swimming in the sea?? but either way that's why we gave 4 stars The food looked and tasted lovely but something made us ill unfortunately. The room staff, reception, Dr's, nurses and entertaining staff were lovely.

Animation programm high quality - very active, lot's of activities: sports and social activities, happenings, pool activities, dance sessions. Food: Large array/choice of different foods. Tasty and interesting. Always different. Allergy and kids friendly foods. 3 different bars all over the hotel. All types of drinks and soft drinks available without limits. One night tunisian style dinner. Sometimes we had a problem to find sun loungers at the beach. Not enough for all the guests at once. The waiters at the dinner/eating area acted at times unfriendly, ignorant and not pro-active. Sometimes unmotivated to set the table for newly coming dinning guests. Once they laughed behind our backs when we politely asked them to set our table for us. Accomodation: The bungalows where we were accomodated were less modern and up-to-date than the hotel rooms. The soap dispensers were horrible to use. They were further than the hotel rooms, therefor definitely not suitable for elderly and dissabled. Beach: In the morning and noon hours the water was calm and clear, low tide, knee hight at most. 10-15m from the shore it started to get flooded with seaweed. Therefor not really suitable for any glamourous swimming. Afternoons, high tides and dirty see from all the sand. Outdoor showers + outdoor bar + Personel overall friendly. Pool was great The towel etiquette at the beach and pool was unethical. People were leaving their towels there to get a lounger sonner than others. The personel, even tho they talked about removing them, never actually did, creating uneven cicumstances

I have just returned from five days in this hotel complex, and have to say it was a rather disappointing time, especially having previously experienced a much better quality hotel elsewhere in Djerba. The rooms and bathroom/shower were rather dated and need some extensive renovation. The bath towels were grey rather than white. The food was reasonable, and a lot of choice, but the layout of the buffet was complicated to manoeuvre. Worst of all, there was never any FRESH orange juice, just some watery liquid out of a machine. I'm not a coffee drinker, so rely on tea, but there was never any 'boiling' water, just lukewarm. I drank a lot of water instead. Plus, for two days, the cash machine was empty and I needed cash to pay for the SPA. There were, however, some positives : staff extremely friendly and welcoming, and working very hard at all times. Beach location was great, but too many rocks in the sea to enable easy swimming. Lovely large pools, and an indoor pool. Excellent spa treatment, and of course fabulous sunshine. The animation team were very professional, but evening entertainment was a bit repetitive. If I should visit Djerba again, it would not be to this hotel, but one of the better quality ones on the alternative Tourist Zone.
