“Fantastic Tunisian holiday.”

2nd time at Sol Azur and it was fantastic again. Upgrades around the hotel look fabulous. A huge thank you to Fati, Hythan, Nieam, Waseam, Ahgmed and all the wonderfully kind and friendly staff. We will definitely be back again soon.

“Good Hôtel , sunbed situation lets it down”

Check in at the hotel was easy and swift. We had a sea view room which looked over the pool and beyond to the sea and beach. Check in at the hotel was easy and swift. We had a sea view room which looked over the pool and beyond to the sea and beach. As we were on the third floor it was only a minute walk to the restaurant which was handy. Food choice was really good, always hot and the desserts were great. The only let down was the sunbed situation around the pool. Unless you were up at 5.30am or you tipped the pool man you would not get a bed there. People leaving towels for half the day before strolling down in the afternoon. Luckily we preferred the beach which was great, lovely shallow clear waters and breezy, by the pool there was no breeze at all as sheltered. All in all a great break. Private transfers took approx 40 minutes.

“A relaxed and sunny holiday”

First of all, this is my first trip to Tunisia. I have to say it’s been lovely, average, good value for money. People are wonderful. The beach attaches to the hotel - which is a bonus, you can choose between this or the pool…which is beautifully surrounded by wonderful greenery and well kept flowers. The gardens are beautiful surrounding this hotel - it’s really pretty. I have one bug bare regarding poolside beds - only once in our week stay did we mange to sit around the pool, which is acceptable for a busy hotel, but people were not actually sitting on the sun loungers - they had reserved them with their towel! I find this really annoying and inconsiderate for other guests. However - we had enough enjoyment on the beach and there was plenty of sun loungers there. The food was OK however some dishes were bland. Evening meals had plenty of variety, traditional type food and lovely vegetable dishes!! Lunch was lovely fresh salad, type buffet chips ; fish, chicken, fruit. Deserts looked amazing but tasted bland - for the price of our trip it , I cannot complain. The best asset this hotel has ; aside from the beautiful setting, is by far the staff - they are all exceptionally welcoming, warm, kind and attentive. The hotel is kept clean - a little run down, but still charming; the room was clean, bedding and linen all fresh and clean. I will say one more thing - mornings are LOUD and evenings are LOUD with dance music around the pool. Although with the Tunisian sun I have never sleep as good in a long time !! However I have read other reviews and some people have complained about noise/ music at night, it does go quiet at 12am! We stayed within the hotel most of our stay. Ventured out on an evening to buy a few bits from the local supermarket, which was convenient, and nice few shops for souvenirs - however it does get annoying being hassled to buy things. The best place for gifts is the hotels own souvenirs shop downstairs from the reception! variety and good value. This is a charming hotel overall, if you want a week stay, a beach , nice pool, all you can eat and drink, do nothing and enjoy the beautiful sun!! If you’re looking for excursions these are available, but honestly I found it too hot to be bothered with anything but beach days and relaxed hotel atmosphere! Special thanks to Wassim in reception, Naim at the pool bar and Hamdi, also Wael our waiter in the evening, and all of the other hotel staff who offered Tunisia’s beautiful hospitality that would definitely bring me back again.

Lovely private beach. Decent cheap holiday wouldn't give more then 3 stars. 5 nights all inclusive Hotels a bit dated and the cleanliness of the bed sheets wasn't great. Foods OK not much choice , and times when no snacks available between meals. Staff were friendly but some were just rude . Ask… more

Ask for recommendation from bar staff about drinks as there's no menu was told to go away and think about what I want and come back..
