We have just returned from a 10 night stay at venus beach and find very little to complain about. I dont review places but i felt this was a must. From the moment we entered the hotel the staff were welcoming. We emailed to request an interconnecting room which they fulfilled and rooms were ready on arrival even though it was only midday. The food was fine, nothing to rave about but plenty of options, im a fussy eater and lived off pasta/couscous/rice/chips ect but always found something. Chicken nuggets, turkey goujons, fish burgers, beef burgers, roast meats available too. My husband enjoyed eating local dishes- octopus, rabbit, veal ect and had compliaments to most dishes but i appreciate its not to everyones taste, there was never a day anyone in our family- adults or kids struggled we always ate well. The staff in the restaurant are great, we were looked after well during our stay being family of 8 staff always found us a table so we could sit together. We sat at the same table so got to know our waiter well. The entertainment staff are welcoming and are happy to sit and have a chat and banter but also will leave you be if they sense youre not in to it. Kids loved the mini disco, didnt make any shows on an evening as we were always too tired! (Probably from walking up the slide stairs multiple times a day) Lifeguards could not fault at all, love to have fun but always take care of you and make sure everyone is safe. Enjoy playing with the kids and having a laugh, always seen interacting with everyone around the pool. Our room was basic, could do with mondernising, that being said our room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding every other day and fresh towels every day and did exactly what it needed to do and for 3* i think it was what youd expect. The water park was great, lifeguards at the top of slides always kind and helpful and pretty sure they enjoyed pushing you down while screaming 🤣 kids enjoyed so much we barely saw them. Always lots on for all the family but we just enjoyed sitting around the pool so didnt partake in anything but always offered to join in. Beach was lovely. Camel rides available, didnt find them pushy and if they were there too long security would move them along so never felt unsafe. Found the hotel was wheelchair friendly too with designated disabled beds and access directly to the beach bar and sand. Honestly could not praise this hotel enough, weve never left somewhere and wanted to book the same place again but here we are certain we’ll return and already pricing it up. There are some mixed reviews and i did spend a lot of time worrying we’d made a mistake but we couldnt have been more pleased with our holiday and it will be a tough one to beat.

Location from airport is 30-45 minutes, atmosphere is full on for families to include them in day and night activities 10 out of 10. Rooms are clean and have everything you need for your stay.. value for money, depends who your tour operator is but overall 10/10 for value, food is outstanding, there is always something for everyone, I’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels where the food has been shocking, but Splashworld Venus Beach really tries hard to accommodate everyone with the food they provide. Service and staff are over and above expectations, the Animation team are 11 out of 10, They make you feel welcome and try to involve you throughout your stay from the moment you check in until you leave. The ladies who do the house keeping are fantastic. The staff at reception are professional and friendly and are there if and when you need them. The bar staff are friendly and go over and above what they generally need to do. Majority of staff are multi lingual, English, Arabic, French and German. The actual waterpark has adult slides, junior and toddler/baby slides. Now for my personal praises. Massive respect to Big Bassem and Litte Bassem who are two of the life guards 11 out of 10 guys ( hope you are there next time we visit👍. Tarek the world class barman, outstanding my friend 👍 Omar, Aziz, Ryan, Louey , hassine, Stephen ph, sasouki, kuki the monkey 🐵, Basty Mimi and Momo. Too many to mention but all equally fantastic (the animation team) and all the staff on reception really appreciated and outstanding for what you have all done while we stayed with you. What I would add is that this is our second stay and has not disappointed in any way shape or form but I do miss the CRAZY TRAIN outing, this can break up your time and on our first visit, was a cracking couple of hours out into Tunisia, I think we need this back as for some reason it wasn’t offered on our second stay which was a bit disappointing. We are coming back a third time as the Splashpark at Venus Beach has everything you’ll want and need 👍

Hotel ok rooms were fine clean and spacious with balcony . Checking wasn’t very good man on reception didn’t speak very good English and had card issue paying the tourist tax was overcharged but given back the next day.wasn’t given much info on arrival but code to scan which didn’t work on mine n h… more

Internet wasn’t very good kept going off . Pools and water park were very good never struggled to get a bed beach was ok. Indoor pool could have done with a paint was full of mould on ceiling .entertainment was ok drinks ok staff were ok no complaints all were fine service was ok .food was the worst part for me I struggled food wasn’t good at all think one night I ate something other than a chip butty .I personally wouldn’t return but if your not a fussy eater suppose it’s ok my granddaughter loved the water park which is very good if you have children
