A great holiday for a great price. Defo worth booking the prestige rooms if you can, gives lovely little exclusive adult only areas. Staff were lovely, special mentions to.... Kamel in the prestige area. Always bringing drinks, nothing was too much trouble. Nabeel in the main bar area, lovely guy and again always on hand. Moussa in the restaurant was great, always had a smile on his face and a table waiting for us. Everyone was really kind. Rooms are lovely although the glass bathroom is a bit odd being able to see each other shower. Gym is great, think there has been new equipment recently. Only thing I'd say it needs are more plates for the bar and ankle straps for cable machine. Food was good in the buffet. Gets a bit repetitive and we did eat out cheaply by the harbour a few times. A la carte restaurant is nice but lacks atmosphere and never seems busy despite having to wait days to get a table. We had a trip to the Medina in Sousse with Freddie from the hotel, great guy with lots of interesting stories. Felt much safer and hassled less with him there. Beach is also lovely and right on the doorstep. All in all a great holiday for a very reasonable price

we went for 7 nights 3rd may , Tourist tax was asked for £10 english on arrival per room our rooms we had 4 was on 2nd floor garden view ,my room 225 ,sorry forgot the maids name ,but cleaned to a very high standard. was spotless clean ,had fridge water supplied ,kettle sugar tea ,no coffee so... more

we went for 7 nights 3rd may , Tourist tax was asked for £10 english on arrival per room our rooms we had 4 was on 2nd floor garden view ,my room 225 ,sorry forgot the maids name ,but cleaned to a very high standard. was spotless clean ,had fridge water supplied ,kettle sugar tea ,no coffee so take your own ,and milk the bar will give you a long life carton ,no issues , shampoo conditoner and shower gel all in bathroom ,i used theres as so nice . pillows hard ,But 2 soft ones in the wardrobe . only issue with the rooms ,a couple of our hairdryers kept cutting out. Pool areas plenty of beds ,but if you want right next to the pool ,you have to be up early ,we did not went about 8.30 am before breakfast and got a group of 6 on the lawns . pool towels nice thick soft ,no payment given a card to swap for towel ,must give card back at the end of the holiday ,or will get charged Bars good choice of drinks cocktails and wine the rose was very nice ,and my friends enjoyed the cocktails ,another friend treated her self to a few bottles off sparkly wine ,did cost £25 a bottle the cheapest they had !But we looked it up on line and is £19 to buy ,so was not given a cheap bottle . The food in the buffet rest ,all very good ,lots prawns fish steaks etc ,i cannot see why people complain ,we always found a table for 6 ,we prefer not to eat in the loud busy area ,as you go in the door and so close to the food,but it is only seconds to walk to the quieter area, what has doors to the outside ,we ate once there ,but was a bit windy ,but lovely views to the beach All staff are polite and helpful, Now what could be improved on ! we arrived friday morning ,at lunch time i went to book the 2 a la carte restaurants for a 50th and 70th birthday we was told nothing available till wed and thursday evenings ,other people tried later in the day could not book any ,if on a 2 week break you may be okay . they are both very small only holding about 12 tables wed in tunisian ,saw 4 tables empty and not used ! thursday in the italian only 5 tables used ,we was in there at 7.30pm and last ones to leave both nights about 9.30 ,tables used once why empty tables ! i saw the italian table list when we was booked in and was only 5 bookings all very strange and a let down . but the food and service was lovely Massages same we went on the first day,to book a hamman earliest was a wait till the monday 3 days And we all wanted a massage ,only one free was on the thursday 6 days later ! lady on reception spa said very busy , so all disappointed But some one told us about the spa next door ,as you go out the hotel its the first entrance on the left ,now does not look good from the entrance ,ask the security man you want to look at the spa ,they will walk you to the spa entrance ,i asked for a look around and wow wow amazing treatment and relax rooms ,i go to lots spas and this was better than most in england just for a rough guide ,i had a 2hr 20 min treatment Steam room ,shoer ,body scrub with black soap , removed lots dead skin ,then body wash down then gown on went to another room 20 mins pressure shower massage laying down . then little time relax room the a lovely 60 mins massage all For £55 they do loads diff treatments def go well thank you Iberostar all your marvelous staff ,for a great holiday Tina

“Family holiday”

“The Good, Bad and tips”

We enjoyed this trip a lot. First time for myself at an all inclusive which had mixed opinions from me on. Good things . 1. The staff are all excellent and make the hotel brilliant. They understood when to enhance or leave alone and would do anything for you. 2. Location was good but be considerate that Sousse in general isn’t set up for tourism like it used to be so not a lot to do. 3. Hotel was very good standard 4. The drinks were free flowing and generous- we heard of other hotels near by which it wasn’t the case. Bad things 1. Service maids- I paid the highest tip to maids at start of trip and requested fresh water and Nescafé daily. I got one sachet one day, room cleanliness while staying wasn’t great, poor service. 2. very repetitive and not great to be truthful, dry meat and poor selection. The a la carte was basically the same food served nicer- but atmosphere of restaurant poor and heard a lot of people couldn’t even get booked in. Top tips! If going into Sousse pay the money to have Freddie take you in, saves on the hassle and makes it more enjoyable. The pool is freezing! The beach however was much more pleasant. Haggle everything! We did the Sahara tour and loved it, broke up the repeat of each day here. The port is quiet so watch out for the chancers trying to scam you. Hard Rock Cafe was amazing food we were ashamed to go but loved it! They don’t accept Scottish money here so please chance to English before coming! Tip your waiters, it’s polite and they appreciate it well.
