We recently spent a wonderful week at Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, and while the resort itself is absolutely stunning, what truly sets it apart is the people who work there. Every detail of the property has been carefully considered—from the beautiful rooms and excellent restaurants to the crystal-clear sea and heated pools. Everything feels thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious and relaxing experience. But what makes Maxx Royal stand out from other luxury resorts is the exceptional level of service. The staff genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make every moment enjoyable. No request feels too small, and any issue is handled with remarkable attention and efficiency. Their warmth, professionalism, and sincere desire to make guests happy create an atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere. We have been visiting Maxx Royal properties for years, and this time our assistants, Sema and Görkem, were the most attentive and helpful we have ever had. They were always available, proactive, and genuinely invested in making our holiday as enjoyable as possible. Their care and dedication transformed an already great vacation into a truly memorable one. A special thank you also goes to Onur by the pool, who looked after us throughout our stay. His friendly attitude, positive energy, and constant attentiveness never went unnoticed and made our days by the pool even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable holiday. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended.

The Maxx Royal is a beautiful hotel, the architecture, the way the rooms blend flawlessly into its surroundings is a marvel. Our room - which was kindly upgraded from a land view (or tree view) to a sea view was spectacular. The rooms are very modern and faultless. We are a couple just turned 60. We were, hardly surprisingly, one of the more mature guests. Obviously the great majority are Russian, but mostly they were a polite bunch. Breakfast at Casa Sol was the highlight. Although at times very busy, the wait staff do a fabulous job. I don’t want to be hyper critical but to me the food was average, nothing to get excited about. This, I felt, was the standard in all restaurants. Seasoning was in short supply, some dishes were tepid. However, one little pocket of delight was the chocolates - yummmm. The wines on offer were also only average (a fizzy Argentinian Chandon, plus Turkish house wines). But cocktails were perfectly made. The main pool was heated and in May it was perfect. No squeals as you get in - unlike the sea which my big toe touched and I felt positively hyperthermic! We enjoyed the small area between the main pool and above Casa Sol - I do think the hotel could make this area adults only. Oh and the Sun lounger areas had usb sockets - how very cool! Now, I’ve stayed at Maxx Kemer and Maxx Belek and this hotel meets the very high Maxx brand bar - I enjoy al a carte service, I’m very anti buffets. Last year we went to nearby Lujo and I’d say Maxx wins in the food stakes (just), and cocktails (definitely) but falls down considerably when it comes to the wines (no French imports, no Moet Chandon). Maxx also wins in the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered were just lovely and welcoming. They really care about your happiness. A few shout out here for staff members who went that extra mile: Batuhan Teymur at the main bar Hasan Can Atilgan at the fish restaurant Aylin (fish restaurant server) Basak in main reception And lastly Everyone Loves Raymond in Casa Sol. All in all a wonderful, relaxing holiday. I’d def go back in a heartbeat.

Ten days at Maxx Royal Bodrum are behind us, and the verdict up front: a thoroughly stylish resort, friendly staff everywhere, and a pleasant, relaxed crowd. Exactly the mix that makes a family holiday come together. The food was genuinely strong throughout. Everything was delicious the whole time. Breakfast at Casa Sol with the wonderful Victoria was a highlight every morning, warm and attentive. And lunch at Seavore was first class, exactly what you hope for. What makes the difference here is the people. On the beach, Cloyd looked after us with drinks and food, always with top service and great spirit. A huge thank you to our Maxx Assistant Yasemin Tas, who made our stay so much easier with all her effort. And we were especially impressed by Tuana Kacar, who responded to our feedback with poise and real appreciation. Exactly how you’d want it handled. The kids club deserves its own praise. The most stylish one we’ve ever seen, with a great team the children felt at home with right away. Thanks too for the table tennis matches with the team, even if we ended up winning every time :) We want to stay honest about one pattern we noticed, and it doesn’t take away from the great overall impression. In the evenings, once the restaurants fill up, the service tends to slip. At Safran everything started beautifully, but as it got busier no one came back to clear plates or take a dessert order. At Twenty 4 in the evenings and at Le Mélange we were largely left to ourselves. One small extra tip: Casa Sol is best from 8 pm onwards, before that you often catch the sound check and end up listening to the band being mixed. Nothing dramatic and easily fixed. One lovely moment to close on: after our daughter’s sand toys went missing on a rainy day, the hotel sorted her new ones without any fuss. It’s exactly these small, thoughtful gestures that make a stay memorable. Bottom line, a beautiful luxury resort with a team that works with heart. We’ll happily be back.
