We've just got home from our 3rd holiday at this lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and cleaned to a high standard daily. The hotel manager Erkan is a lovely man who runs the hotel so well and goes out of his way to accommodate everyone! The bar staff work hard and keep all the guests entertained daily! It was so nice to have the entertainment of Mumin back this year and hopefully we'll see him there again next year! Ben , Dila and Emrula are all so lovely and hard working and are such an asset to the Samira! All the young waiters work hard and keep the pool area spotless! I look forward to returning next year if the prices don't go too high!!!

My wife and I spent six days at the Samira Exclusive Hotels and Apartments this June in Kalkan The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a beautiful resort with spacious rooms and quality amenities. It is very well maintained and extremely clean. We are usually reluctant to use hotel pools but we decided to try it. We both agreed that it was the cleanest hotel pool we have been in. Samira is located at the center of town but yet far enough from the nightlife to be quiet. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Street parking is readily available just outside of the hotel. Samira is rated as a three-star hotel, but in our opinion it is as good as any four-star hotel we stayed in, especially in Turkey. If there is one area for improvement, it is the breakfast. It is good as is, but having better selection in the hot food section of the buffet would make it as good as the rest of the hotel. The staff at Samira deserve special mention. We can not complement them enough for the outstanding service provided by each and everyone of them. They were polite, helpful, and warm. The front desk (Erkan, Zekeriya, and the night shift), the bartender extraordinaire Mumin, the serve staff (Ismail, Duru, Bunyamin and others), and the cleaning personnel made this one of our best hotel experiences in Turkey.

We were there same time as Rachel G who did her review a week ago I would echo everything she has said and agree with her comments. Mumin was too military around the pool and was regularly warning people about NO FOOD OR WATER around the pool unless it was bought from the bar we paid 3k for self catering and then to be forced into buying EVERYTHING at the pool bar was wrong especially the prices of the drinks total rip off we certainly wont be back. Its a shame because all the other staff are excellent we couldn't fault them. The other bad thing was we had an appartment and there was no iron and board and there wasnt even one you could borrow from reception I had to take all my shirts trousers etc along with my wifes clothes to reception and PAY to have them ironed absolute joke !!!

This hotel is fabulous, the position, the atmosphere, the rooms and pool are all worth a mention. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, all but one!! a number of guests stated they were made to feel uncomfortable around Mumin. Dila needs a very special mention as she is professional, friendly and makes you feel so welcome. Erkhan is especially pleasant as are the reception straff, day and night and I cannot say how good the cleaners are. However Mumin is not at all professional, even saying that selling drinks earns him commission ! Really, is that what you say to a guest? He wanders around the pool looking for illicit drinks and pressure sells including the Greek night ! We went on holiday to relax,not be pressured into sailors . Really let’s the team down . Drinks are very expensive and the breakfast is quite poor, not enough tables either. The music around the pool is very relaxing and not too loud and there are plenty of beds. Would recommend and would return.
