“Great”

stayed in Greenpark end of July for 10 days with my 2 young kids great location, staff also very friendly, did have a issue with the room being very top floor not very safe for 2 young kids as as balcony wae just a wall, i banged my head first night on the ceeling but a new room was sorted out very quick next day & given a ground floor which was Perfect 🙂 if u have any problems staff are quick to sort it out for you, pool is great size & my older daughter loved the main pool & my younger kid loved the small pool as perfect for her age, no matter what time we went down to the pool at we always managed to get a sun lounger,we ate here for breakfast & Lunch & food was always Lovely, however i did notice one day i would get charged 100 lira for coffee from one staff then the next 120 next 150 so staff basically making their own prices up as they go along, they ask ur room number to bill you for food drinks at the end of ur holiday but i jist paid there & then eo i could keep track of spending, apartment was a really good size, cleaned everyday & beds changed every few days, cleaner was lovely & always friendly but what i didn't like was the cleaner putting a envelope in the room asking for tips the day before we were going home then knocking on the door asking if we have put money in the envelope yet 🙈i always tip cleaner but found this pretty cheeky considering i tipped the same cleaner every day a good amount, think it was only £25 for late check out until 6pm, which was perfect as we were gettin picked up at 6.15, i thought that was a bargain price considering a hotel i was in round the corner the month before wanted £80 until 4pm, overall we liked this hotel & will come back again

“Green park stay....”

I try to give balance review to include negative and positive from my experience....we hadn't been in years so just went for basic SC ....we arrived late at night so basically unpacked & took quick walk around the area.... I try to give balance review to include negative and positive from my experience....we hadn't been in years so just went for basic SC ....we arrived late at night so basically unpacked & took quick walk around the area.... Reception staff- friendly on arrival Room - we were in Room 103 on the GF....the + was that no stairs to climb ( no lift so would have been horrendous if I had been upstairs) *The room is facing restaurant+bar of the hotel so very noisy.... especially late on with children running e'where & loud music etc so if Ur a light sleeper this probably not the room for you.... * We didn't realise until day before leaving that there is a middle door " WHICH CAN BE CLOSED" BUT STAFF HAVE IT PINNED OPEN " - SO UNHOOK IT IF STAYING IN 101,102&103....FOR PRIVACY IN EVENING..... * Room....not for faint hearted where electrics are concerned, but bed was clean, furniture old & basic, couldn't open wardrobe....our room sliding doors open onto back area where staff get all the alcohol from bar....so lot walking back & forth ....also there is a CAMERA ON FENCE LOOKING DIRECT INTO ROOM SO DON'T WALK ABOUT NAKED..😂) on the + if out of room for the day the camera can keep eye on Ur room...😉.....basic kettle, microwave and fridge...also if U had a wheelchair there is a small step up into room .... * There is a MIGROS supermarket literally less than 5 minutes once u turn to left & then left again.....so bought fresh bread etc...reasonably priced * Pool area ok but if U don't want a holiday with lots of children pick different hotel....the male attendants very attentive to " young girls in bikinis etc & very quick looking mobile numbers & sweet talking " not good look when working supposed to be PROFESSIONAL.....I brought own bottle of water to side of my chair as I don't drink alcohol and one of the male staff told me off & I wasn't permitted to have it there saying as I didn't purchase water there ...so I left pool area ... * Anyone with mobility issues the footpaths outside etc are horrendous & steep step Up to footpath ...there is steep slope down to pool area but not much room again many hogging " sunbeds" when not there & hotel should remove them..... * We chose not to eat at hotel as many preferences outside....as a base this hotel is handy for young people, 2 Celtic bars literally 1 minute away.....plenty of shops etc ...very lively area.... Hotel slowly upgrading.... * Unfortunately when I was returning key to reception area...they told me I had an unsettled bill..... explained I couldn't have as I had never eaten or drank at hotel...so staff summoned.... hopefully they got the knob heads who thought it was funny to use our ROOM NUMBER to purchase food & alcohol & avoid paying..hotel were going to follow it up...... ..shame on whoever did it & hopefully they were caught & barred from hotel....so anyone else keep eye on Ur bill just incase similar happens....

“Mixed bag.”

We stayed here for 5 nights and had 2 apartments. Arrived 12.30am, our apartment was on top floor, we had bugs in the kitchen and the bathroom. Our sons apartment on second floor had stained sheets and pillows, mess under the beds from previous guests. Not the best first impression but staff did so… more

We stayed here for 5 nights and had 2 apartments. Arrived 12.30am, our apartment was on top floor, we had bugs in the kitchen and the bathroom. Our sons apartment on second floor had stained sheets and pillows, mess under the beds from previous guests. Not the best first impression but staff did sort clean sheets. Rooms were functional and basic and generally ok however they need a massive update! I had 2 balconies (with a build up of bird poo on one (see pic). After being in this room 2 days, reception rang and said there was a problem with the shower and maintenance needed the room so we had to move to a ground floor apartment. No balcony, just a small tiled area. If you open your doors, the hotel cats will make themselves at home. I dont mind cats,I have my own but I can see how that would be a problem for some people. The absolute best thing about these apartments is the shower which were fantastic! We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but we did buy drinks from the bar which were reasonably priced. The pool is basically the same depth all the way around. I'm 5'3 and was on tip toe on one side but could stand up on the other. We didn't have a problem getting a bed but I imagine in peak months you'd have a problem. We paid 1350 lira to keep our apartment until 6pm on checkout day which was convenient. The hotel has different blocks of rooms, our block towards the strip backed on to the Amore bar. This is a lively strip and they pump out music until midnight. We were out a few nights past midnight but on the couple of days we were back early there was no chance of getting sleep until the music stopped! Perhaps not ideal if you have young children. Overall we had a brilliant stay in marmaris, I would love to come back but I probably wouldn't stay in these apartments again.
