Beach front location is spot on. Beach is extremely small and rocky / pebbles but plenty of beds in the open and the shade. Bars and restaurants immediately outside hotel are good, if expensive for what you get. Taxi to Marmaris or Iclemer is approx £10. Atmosphere in hotel is mixed. Everything is extremely busy. Queues for everything all of the time. Facilities and variety excellent. Food quality is excellent. Always a wide variety and regularly topped up fresh but Dining room is chaotic and getting a seat anywhere is a bit of a lottery. For a family larger than 4 we found it a real pain and split up most days and certainly in the evenings. Drinks are ……. average at best unfortunately, especially when you’re constantly asking for it in a glass / cup at night as (the default is always plastic) despite hundreds sitting looking at you. Most staff are friendly and attentive. Pool bar staff on the whole are actually the opposite which is a shame. Some are downright rude which is a real shame as lots of staff in other areas will really go out their way for you. If you have manners and respect for other guests, you’ll quickly get annoyed as some people (particularly Russian, Turkish and Polish people) just ignore you and step in front of you or try to move you out of the way if they want something. This happened in most queues, whilst being served at the bar and when actually being dealt with by reception staff. Staff ignore this behaviour which actually needs addressing with hotel management. When you’ve permanently got to be ready to argue and come to expect the staff to facilitate such disrespect from others, it is very jarring and leaves a sour taste. Rooms in block 2 are poor! Not 5 star at all (3 at best). Rooms in block 1 are good but walls are paper thin. Beach front rooms (block 3) are very good but expensive for what they are. There is definitely a tiered rooming system even though it’s advertised as different. Gym is very well kitted out although a bit of a squeeze when it’s busy (most of the morning) Its open 24/7 and if that’s your thing then it’s not going to disappoint. Hotel is always very clean and tidy (especially considering how manic and chaotic the place is 24/7 ) Noise level is high all day and most areas of a night but there’s a few places to escape from it (terrace bar, reception, beach front etc). Local hotels keep bouncing til 12 so don’t expect to sleep til past midnight. Sunbed wars commence at 8am when the pools open. It is a rat race and sometimes people just ignore basic manners and take your stuff off and either move it or literally sit on it and say it’s theirs if it suits them. First come first served isn’t really a thing unless you sit or lay on it permanently. Main pool and most beds get sun until 4/5pm. Large area is shaded by 2pm though. Entire pool is 1.4m deep so most are always able to stand up. Lifeguard always on duty. Inflatables allowed . Pool is not really big enough for number of people so it feels cramped and personal space isn’t a thing most of the day. Kids pool is small and very tight. Slides are good when they are open. Large part of it shaded for most of the day. Indoor pool and jacuzzi are good (quiet and less busy in the morning but very busy and noisy in the afternoons ). We’ve loved most parts and hated others on this holiday. It really is a mixed bag of emotions depending on timings , what you’re willing to put up with and then a quite a bit of pure pot luck. If you want manic, loud chaos - it’s for you. If you want relaxed and calm - it’s definitely not.

Overall a decent hotel (main building 1 best if you can get it) with good all-inc services and great location by the beach and next to lots of shops. Service was excellent, with the coffee (&cake!) shop team in particular very attentive. However for standout service look for Ali Can in the main restaurant - far end, your glass will not be empty for long, always service with a smile, and he may teach you a few handy Turkish phrases along the way…

The hotel is definitely not 5 star maybe a 3 the staff are fantastic especially the entertainment/cleaner's and bar staff but the beach is disgusting full of cigarette ends never cleaned and when u have a 2 year old who loves the sand it's not nice .the wardrobe in the bedroom is only big enough fo… more

The hotel is definitely not 5 star maybe a 3 the staff are fantastic especially the entertainment/cleaner's and bar staff but the beach is disgusting full of cigarette ends never cleaned and when u have a 2 year old who loves the sand it's not nice .the wardrobe in the bedroom is only big enough for 1 persons clothes if there for 2 weeks .the furniture is old needs changing. not enough sunbeds for amount of people and dinner/evening meals not enough tables nightmare but great restaurant across road called no name really good .end of rant

“Week of heat”

Not a five star hotel, more a three star. Far too many people for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant was feeding time at the zoo. On some occasions couldn’t get a table. Not a five star hotel, more a three star. Far too many people for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant was feeding time at the zoo. On some occasions couldn’t get a table. A lot of choice but nothing to rave over. Icecream stand was welcoming and great flavours but again you queue. Sunbed wars at 8am, if you can’t beat them, join them. Plus side, pool with water slides was a lot of fun for the children, although make sure you keep your eyes on them as the lifeguard was useless. Was it worth it, yes as children had a great holiday. Would I go back, no.
