Firstly the hotel is beautiful, scenery is breathtaking. The staff are incredibly hard working and friendly. Tekin was great and listened and acted on any issues. Very good at looking after the guests and actually went out of gus way to do so. The food was much better than expected given some of the previous reviews. It was fresh. Yes it is repetitive but that what you expect in AI. It was nice to have a couple of themed evenings. We visited the italian A la carte. Beautiful setting but the service was lacking, which is frustrating as it could be amazing. The snack bar lunches were good, lots of salad and pizza and things for kids to eat. Watch the chicken goujons to ensure throughly cooked. Drinks were a good quality. The entertainment team were great and there was a good selection of entertainment. Could be more on offer for the teens/young adults - a games rooms, pool table etc.... We stayed in club rooms which were fine and as described. Cleaning was good and regular, towels changed daily. In my opinion it is not a 5* but could easily be sp with a little mpre attention to detail in the restaurant, making sure tables are cleared, drinks offered etc....lots of tired areas that need some maintenance too. However, we loved it! It is not 5*plush more rustic, laid back, beach vibes. Pools great, beach is rocky so invest in some beach shoes, the watersports and boat trip are well worth it and were a highlight for us. Great value for money. Bodrum is 20 mins taxi and well worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel and the views were breath taking. We totally relaxed and had a great time. Thank you!! As a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, we've just returned from a 10 night holiday to Blue Dreams Resort. Its not often I leave a review but feel this hotel deserves to be highlighted for its excellent customer service and simply stunning location. It didn't get off to the best of starts as when we checked in late evening, we were told that there was a technical issue with the family room we had booked and we had been allocated 2 separate rooms with the view of it being sorted the next day or maybe later. The rooms were not too far from each other but both had double beds. We said this wasn't acceptable. We were not getting very far with the gentleman on reception however luckily the General Manager Burak overheard our conversation and intervened. He quickly sorted the issue and from the point of moving to a lovely family room the next day we could start our holiday. His professionalism and understanding was first class. The hotel setting is absolutely beautiful, the views from all areas are breathtaking. Yes, there are some aspects you could argue that it is not 5* but on the whole we felt it was very good value for money despite what some previous reviews have said. The pool areas are very clean and you will always find a sunbed across the complex not having to get up at some ridiculous hour to reserve one. There are always plenty on the beach or pier. The infinity pool has got to be one of the highlights, the view is amazing and a lovely temperature. The food overall is pretty good. I do agree that it can get boring with similar dishes but this is no different to other AI hotels in the same price bracket. There are occasional theme nights in the main restaurant which made a refreshing change. It would have been nice to have them more frequently. We had a meal in the Italian A la carte restaurant which was lovely and in a beautiful setting. Contrary to other reviews, we didn't see many branded alcoholic drinks however what we did drink was nice, especially the wine & freshly made cocktails which can be pretty dreadful in an AI hotel. Most cocktails are made from scratch and there is a decent selection but at the main Sunset bar in the evening there are a selection of pre-mixed alcoholic and non alcoholic ones in a self serve canister which aren't as good and seemed watered down. We did see children helping themselves to them too as there are not manned. The entertainment most nights was good, having teenage children we stayed in the main stage area by the Sunset bar. It was a mixture of live bands and DJ sets in which the songs were quite similar at times but it suited our family age group. For the first time ever we discovered 'table wars' where people would put bags/books on a table to reserve it and disappear until the entertainment started which was quite frustrating especially when you would see people walking round looking for a free table. Also our children did miss a games area (with pool table/table tennis etc) so they were bored at times. I think other children were too as they were running around the pool/outdoor restaurant area while the entertainment was on. The staff are a credit to the hotel, they are extremely hardworking and I feel previous reviews are very unfair where they have criticised the customer service. This hotel is the best we have probably ever encountered. I think most of them deserve a medal for keeping a smile on their face as we witnessed some rude & disrespectful behaviour from guests at times. In addition to Burak (who we don't think had a day off as we saw him every day), there were other staff who deserve a mention and stood out to us. Dali is a great asset to the entertainments team, always smiling and joking with great banter. Tekin introduced himself and offered his help should we have any issues or wanted guidance with going out. He always went out of his way to come and say hello. Mehmet & the Sunset pool staff were great, some remembering our drink orders even during busy periods. I can understand why guests return as there is a 'family' feeling here. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel, we loved it! This is the 3rd year running we have been to Turkey. Bodrum & this area is by far the best we have been to. The main bonus is that this time, we have all come home fit and healthy escaping sickness & diarrhoea bugs we have had during the 2 previous holidays. Yes there are some areas which could be improved but the customer service & location outweigh this in addition to the cost.
