My husband and I recently stayed at myella,on the whole we had a lovely time although im not sure the resort is 5 stars.we had a swim up room,which was lovely and really made our stay special,rooms starting with 3 definitely got more sun and I emailed ahead and requested this,this was honored. When booking i was not made aware that there was no a la carte restaurant open and no entertainment,so this was disappointing,there are some lovely pleases to eat if wanting a special meal just a 10 minute walk away. The pool is lovely and clean ,the staff work hard keeping it that way and were seen daily cleaning the loungers and pool area. The beach area is nice and lovey to spend time here. The food in the buffet restaurant was ok ,the desserts were the star of the show ,a lot of the food wasnt very hot but there was always something to eat ,again the staff were very helpful. The snack bar was great ,hot,freshly cooked food to order all afternoon and great staff here ,no ice cream at all during our stay which was a little disappointing. The afternoon patisserie was great for a little break and some nice cakes. Guest services were brilliant ,my husbands birthday was during our stay and I received a call to go and discuss how the hotel can make it special,we had a breakfast delivery on the day ,a cake delivered in the afternoon ,our room was made up and for a small fee we had flowers as well ,the customer service lady was really lovely and helpful(so.sorry I forgot her name ). Overall we had a great time and would return.

“Cleanliness and Receptionist needs to improve.Other than that everything is ok”

In general it was a nice hotel. They did not clean our room properly. Everyday was same thing. Staff needs to understand basic English language. It was so difficult to communicate with them. When you need help, you go on reception, while talking to receptionist, if his phone rang, he just left you … more

In general it was a nice hotel. They did not clean our room properly. Everyday was same thing. Staff needs to understand basic English language. It was so difficult to communicate with them. When you need help, you go on reception, while talking to receptionist, if his phone rang, he just left you alone which i find inappropriate. Food was nice. Ronaldo was very nice. He was very helpful and boat trip was amazing.

“A stay with pros and cons”

I write this review with mixed feelings, we arrived at the hotel and had booked a swim up room. Check-in was very smooth, which is what we needed after a delayed flight. The room was lovely and the swim up pool was although a little fresh it was pleasant in the middle of the day and in the full heat . There was tea coffee making facilities in our room and a mini fridge which had bottles of water. And was replenished daily. Also there was a safety depositbox which was free of charge. The bathroom had a hairdryer which is like all hairdryers when you’re away , it had shower gel and hand soap in dispensers which were pleasant in smell. It was a very chilled vibe with a DJ playing music around the pool, there was no activity at this time because it was just out of season. There was a dartboard and table tennis available free of charge. The general vibe was lovely all the staff that we had met were very pleasant English not being their first language, but that didn’t stop them making an effort to communicate and sometimes that was even using Google translate! We went and used the spa facilities and the Turkish Bath. We managed to do a deal and got a better offer, which is a win-win every time. Ronaldo, the boat trip Man is amazing, he is around the hotel at all times and very pleasant and will be able to answer most of your questions even if it’s not about his boat, take a boat trip with him. It’s a must. Location is slightly remote but a 20 minute walk a long the sea front brings you to uncles bar and then the shops , bars and restaurants are there . Market day was Saturday, selling the same as the shops. On this walk is a restaurant called SALT and a must for a meal in the evening watching the sunset 🌅 Unfortunately, then things changed 200 uni students arrived for three nights. This then resulted in no sleep and the food as we were all inclusive took a dive. The students did a students do partied till five 530 in the morning because of the shape of the hotel being in a horseshoe the noised echoed ! Us together with a large number of other guests complained constantly over the three days. I feel the situation wasn’t handled by the management as it should have been. We did have a meeting with the guest relations on the Monday as nobody works over the weekend. The guest relations lady was extremely pleasant and couldn’t apologise enough and we had a complementary breakfast (we were all inclusive) sent to the room., also a complementary massage was offered but had already done this experience. Although a great gesture it was our last day and half of our holiday had been spoiled by disruption.. it could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately it wasn’t our experience !
