We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Our room was nice and clean and the view from balcony was amazing. Communication between staff and guests is well managed. I especially liked the bar and spa with the pool - the services are top-notch, the staff were friendly and polite (special kudos to the English speaking workers)👍 Absolutely recommend this place for a comfortable vacation for a couple

“Good choice”

Nice hotel with good facilities close to the city centre. We had half board with breakfast and dinner, both were good with a variety of food , sweet and fruits selection. Nice hotel with good facilities close to the city centre. We had half board with breakfast and dinner, both were good with a variety of food , sweet and fruits selection. Most of the staff were nice and helpful particularly Muhhmut Seven, he is an excellent waiter, very efficient and helpful. We found Perry at the reception very pleasant, helpful and speak a good English. We enjoyed playing table tennis throughout our stay. The only draw back were the central conditioning in our room were not efficient and mostly not enough to keep the room cold and comfortable but my friend room were really very cold and nice. I do Recomend this hotel for the good location and service. Thank you very much for making our holiday an enjoyable one.

This Hotel in Bodrum probably has best view over Bardakci Bay and yet a wonderful beach. We were coming there since a number of years and the vacations were very good. This year it was an exception. It didn’t live up to our expectations. I am describing some of the issues below: 1. RECEPTION: First good news. Reception staff were very good in accommodating our needs. Specifically, Ms. Deniz was one of the staff making the highly acclaimed AZKA story. Other staff in reception area were also very helpful. 2. BOOKING: Here comes bad news. I called the number in official Hotel website. A person was answering with a quotation higher than market price. Then, in the afternoon a person saying his name Mr. Kaan called and said ‘he is giving me a 4-hour personal sale’. I never heard anything as such. The price quoted was again high. Replied that I will think about it, then, within time frame I called the person to say I couldn’t accept his quote. He was in the meeting. Two days later he came back saying that he gives me now a 7 days option. I told him the price quoted by an agency in Greece (touristic archrival of Turkey!) is almost two-thirds of what he is quoting. And added that it would not be acceptable that a Turkish citizen, residing in Turkey and going to a Hotel in Turkey to pay a commission to a tourism agency in Greece! Asked me a screenshot and he would come back. Never came back this person. In the meantime, the website I found made another reduction and I booked almost half of what this person was telling. I called again official website and ask them if my reservation properly recorded in AZKA registry. Answering my call, Ms. Ozlem refused to look at it and said ‘only she can talk on the reservations they made’. It was surprising to see that the number on official website is replying that way. That took one star from my evaluation. 3. SMOKING: In Turkey there is a public law for the interdiction of smoking in determined areas. In AZKA there are large posters announcing this and saying smokers there and the persons tolerating/allowing to this will also be prosecuted. Well, people were nicely smoking in these areas. I have asked the staff to stop this smoking. The answer was revealing, in the morning they can tolerate but in the evening that area absolutely smoke free! I didn’t know that a law could be applied by hours! 4. MEALS: I was quite curious to know if AZKA is cutting the meal allocations and options in view of very high inflation in Turkey. Well. No. The meals were again excellent, though there were some ‘lack of petit attentions’ and disruptions of stock (like nuts). Even there were giant shrimps (sold in Europe 1 Euro each). Every evening there were some 125 sorts of dinner plates! That is really good. In the meantime, during a dinner we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary (attached). 5. WATER: I know that AZKA is obsessed with water since years. There is restriction for example bring the water purchased from outside. However, I know that many guests are purchasing outside and bringing in different ways. Once, one guest was carrying openly a bottle from outside, there was a very tough discussion with him. But this time AZKA decided to charge water during the dinners. As yet ‘half board’ in many countries doesn’t include any ‘drinks’ but for example in the Netherlands, Great Britain or Switzerland there are regulations that ‘tap water’ if requested by the guest, they have to provide it free of charge. In view of that for example in AZKA city water is used in the morning teas or when cooking. I am told it is ‘filtered’. So, in my opinion this sort of water should have been offered to the guests during the dinner. If they are keen for bottled water, then they could have bought ‘bottled water’ by paying. Having said d that, I saw several families (kids, women and man) having their dinner without any drop of water. What a disaster! Obviously, they couldn’t afford it. Or here is another pearl: Guests are filling their empty plastic bottles in the morning during tea time and they drink in the evening dinner! Would that worth such a practice to a hotel like AZKA. I doubt.
