Maxx Royal is in a league of its own. From the quality service and top notch hospitality, this hotel is the best getaway in Bodrum. We tried all the restaurants during our stay but our favorite was Casa Sol, Le Melange, and Seavore. The vibes are great and the food is the perfect portion to try out various dishes each time you come. One of the best experiences we had at the dining options is at Le Melange. Their desserts are of the highest caliber in terms of ingredients, thoughtfulness, and taste. We came everyday to try all the desserts and were blown away by some of their creations. One of our favorite servers during our stay was from Le Melange named Dilara. She took our orders everyday and crafted a sampler of various desserts to satisfy our sweet tooth craving for the day. Her service was top notch and she went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. If you want a top notch, hassle free vacation then Maxx Royal is the hotel for you. Thank you to all the staff for your prompt service and great hospitality during our stay.

We've stayed at Maxx Royal Belek before, and loved it. That property sits right next to the golf course and is excellent for runners, with its own distinct rhythm and setting. Maxx Royal Bodrum is a different concept entirely, built around the coastline and a more intimate, refined atmosphere, but every bit as good in its own way. By our third day here we'd tried three of the on-site restaurants, and the quality across all of them was consistently striking. Ingredients were very fresh, presentation was elegant, and service was attentive at every course. Hotel restaurants are usually solid "B+" at best in our experience; these felt like A-level standalone restaurants, the kind you'd seek out on their own merits, not just because they happen to be inside a hotel. The rooms and public areas are finished to a genuinely high standard, and it shows in the details. Premium fittings throughout, including Otis elevators and Schüco windows and doors, among other high-end brands. Everything is meticulously maintained, both the underlying hardware and the daily soft-service upkeep, so nothing feels tired or worn despite clearly heavy use. The gym is fully obviously equipped with Technogym machines. Service throughout the stay was delicate and unobtrusive: present and attentive whenever needed, but never intrusive or overbearing. Overall, a beautifully run property and highly recommended. We'd happily return to either Maxx Royal Belek or Bodrum, depending on what kind of trip we're after.

Awesome location, great bay, nice beach & pier area, spacious suits, good food in the restaurants which are included in Maxx Royal all inclusive concept, great live performances and nice DJ sets. However service in paid à la carte restaurants (Spago & Lena) leaves much to be desired. Dish serving is awful sometimes: appetizers coming not at the same time (so other people at the table have to wait for their order while one is eating), same main courses are cooked differently (my wife’s steak was tepid at Lena), you have to ask waiter to pour you the wine you ordered. Lot's of staff fussing about, instead of doing their work. It’s not the service that you expect from fine dining restaurants. Not all Maxx assistants have the welcoming attitude you expect. Overall impression: great place with a lot of potential, but so much chaos in service.
