Location: The location was absolutely the best thing about the hotel. It’s about a 1-hour walk to central Alanya (10–15 minutes by taxi, costing around 350 lira). Around the hotel area there are several shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and other little things — very cozy to stroll around. The hotel is located right by the sea (you get there through a tunnel that takes about 1 minute to walk through). Beautiful beach with great service (we were helped with a sun umbrella immediately when we arrived). The hotel also helped us book a private transfer (highly recommended — it takes around 2 hours from the airport and cost €75 one way for 2 people, very smooth and convenient!!). Food: The buffet is good and has something for everyone. We would have liked a bit more variation in the evenings. One out of the seven nights they had a BBQ and grilled outside the restaurant next to the buffet, but we arrived during rush hour and a lot of things were already gone, and we didn’t feel like waiting in line. The food was tasty and very worth the price we paid for the week. Friendly staff (especially a young guy working on the terrace by the buffet, directly to the right). Down by the pool there is a snack bar with simple food included — we ate there one day and were satisfied. At the beach there’s a small shack serving fries, hot dogs, soft drinks, and beer — this is included. There’s also a very cozy beach bar/restaurant by the beach, BUT it is NOT included in the all-inclusive package (which disappointed us a little). The pool bar has a wide range of drinks, many cocktails to choose from, and also a separate menu outside the all-inclusive package that you can order and pay for. Service: We received excellent help booking the transfer and were offered a cheaper room upgrade on-site by Erol (we accepted and were really happy with it)! The bellboy was super sweet and service-minded, as were a guy in the restaurant and the man at the beach who handled the sunbeds. Pool: We arrived the week before peak season started and are grateful for that. There were plenty of spots by the pool, nobody reserving sunbeds early in the morning, and no chaos. Background music created a relaxing atmosphere, and it was perfect to cool off in the pool. We didn’t swim in the children’s pool area. Beach: Sandy beach with fine sand, lots of sunbeds, and there’s a little bay area where you can enter the water. There were some waves on a few days, but later the water became crystal clear and absolutely amazing. We rented jet skis nearby and highly recommend it if you want to do something fun! Room: We upgraded to a deluxe room, which was very nice. Spacious and airy, with a magical view from the balcony (“partial sea view”). Mini fridge (restocked with water), good bathroom, and a comfortable bed. We spent many evenings sitting on the balcony. We had previously read that the neighboring hotel was noisy and YES, that’s true. We’re used to noise so it didn’t bother us, but it is loud even with the doors closed until around midnight every evening (although it can be entertaining and give you a good laugh if you watch it from the balcony). General: Easy to get a taxi into town, but there’s also a fantastic beach promenade with several shops, cafés, etc. all along the way. We recommend withdrawing lira if you plan to pay cash (except for payments to the hotel for transfers and the water sports center where we payed in euro), although almost everyone also accepts cards. There are several friendly vendors walking around the hotel socializing and offering everything from tattoos, jewelry, hairdressers, and outlet shopping. There’s plenty of shopping and you can find almost anything at good prices. We flew with SunExpress and paid €5 per person each way for check-in — a small but annoying fee (their online check-in didn’t work properly…). But we really want to emphasize the convenience and value of the private transfer — the 2-hour drive went by quickly, and it was motorway the entire way. Overall: We were very happy with the trip and could definitely imagine coming back. What impressed us the most was how much we got for the money (great value!), as well as the hotel’s location(!!) and good service! :)

We stayed at Kaila Beach Hotel in Alanya in May and overall had a really good experience, especially considering it was off-peak season. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location with lots nearby. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and the shower was surprisingly spacious. Even the standard room came with a decent-sized balcony which was nice for relaxing in the evenings. A few things in the room did break during our stay (the curtain rod and part of the door frame), but maintenance fixed them quickly each time, so it wasn’t a huge issue. One thing we really appreciated was the water fridges stationed around the hotel — super convenient in the heat. The drinks menu was also genuinely good for an all-inclusive hotel, with lots of choices including cocktails. You only had to pay extra for certain branded or “name” cocktails. The à la carte restaurant was a highlight for us. We had the six-course Italian meal and it was really enjoyable. The main buffet food was okay — definitely edible and there was always something to eat — but it wasn’t amazing, and there wasn’t a huge range for vegetarians. The pool area was great in May because there was no battle for sun loungers. We could go down around 11am and still easily find some, which made the holiday much more relaxing. Another really useful touch was being given a WhatsApp number for reception so we could message about any problems instead of constantly going down to the desk. We also managed to get a late checkout until 5pm on departure day, which was really helpful because of our transfer time. They only confirmed it on the day of departure though, and it cost €60. Location-wise, everything around the hotel mainly uses euros, which made things easy. There are also loads of shops nearby. The hotel shops are quite overpriced, so I’d definitely recommend using the local shops instead. A101 supermarket is only about a two-minute walk away and much cheaper. Polat Souvenir was also a really good souvenir shop with fair prices. One extra recommendation: Enberi restaurant is literally so close you can see it from the pool, and the food there was genuinely incredible. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The hotel isn’t perfect, especially when it comes to the buffet food and small maintenance issues, but the staff were helpful, the facilities were good, and it felt like great value for money.
