We had an absolutely amazing holiday at Acanthus Barut Collection! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and the service is outstanding. The bars and cocktails were one of the highlights of our stay. Every drink was prepared with great care, tasted fantastic, and was presented beautifully. The bartenders were always friendly, professional, and happy to recommend new cocktails. The entertainment was also excellent. Every evening there was something fun to enjoy, from live music to amazing shows, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout our holiday. A very special thank you goes to Ferhat. He made our stay even more enjoyable with his kindness, positive energy, and genuine care for every guest. He was always smiling, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. Employees like Ferhat are a real asset to this hotel and play a big part in making guests want to come back. Thank you to the entire Acanthus Barut Collection team for such a memorable vacation. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday!

We have just returned from an absolutely amazing stay at the acanthus Cennet a few weeks ago and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was superb .The hotel itself is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and every member of staff from the gardeners to house maids made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was outstanding throughout our stay Rooms Clean spacious and very comfortable and have everything you need from a fridge stocked with drinks such as coke ,fanta ,water , beer and chocolate .The bed was one off the most comfiest I’ve ever slept in , our room (2048) had the longest balcony I ever had on holiday with a lovely side sea view Grounds and Pools The grounds were beautifully kept with the gardener’s constantly working on them throughout the days . The pool was magnificent with life guards on duty everyday, we always found a a sun bed no matter what time of day but the second week it did start to get a bit busier , there is a lovely pool bar with plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas around if you wanted to sit in sun or shade ,all the sun bed umbrellas had bar codes on so you can order drinks from your beds and the waiters/ waitresses will deliver them to you Food and Drinks This is where this hotel truly excels the food here is fantastic and probably the best buffet food we ever had at an all inclusive hotel and we have been to quite a few. We tried all the the ala carte restaurants and once again they were all fantastic the Italian being our favourite as other reviews have said you won’t be disappointed with the food Entertainment entertainment in the evenings was really good and varied but If you just want a quiet drink then the lobby bar is perfect! you can also sit outside of the lobby bar and watch the entertainment Beach The beach here is lovely and just across the promenade from the hotel there are plenty of Sun-beds spaced around and all have lovely cushioned mattresses and once again all the umbrellas have bar codes for ordering your drinks Staff Wow what can I say the staff here are simply incredible and a credit to the hotel they all go an extra mile to provide you with outstanding service always happy and smiling and making sure you have fantastic holiday .There are a few people I specially need to thank here for making the holiday that bit more special Ceylon Our lovely waitress every morning in the buffet restaurant for breakfast she is one off the happiest,funniest people I ever met always smiling and happy and helpful (what a lovely way to start your day) Adnan and Fatima These two never stopped working the whole time we were there ,they would serve us at lunchtimes in the Maison Plage and again in the evening in the buffet restaurant nothing was to much trouble and they made us feel like family and they would always stop and chat and go that extra mile to ensure you were enjoying your holiday Huseyin The fantastic head waiter in Lavanta Italian restaurant and he also helps out with the lobby bar later in the evenings . We booked the Italian for our last night, not only did he decorate the table he made sure the evening was extra special for us a true credit to the hotel The holiday was good but thanks to these guys it was excellent and they are a credit to the Barut chain and it now feels like we have made friends for life thank you All in all we had amazing holiday and made some wonderful memories and made some great new friends , we have already started to recommend this hotel to our family and friends and due to having such a fantastic time we have now changed our holiday for next year and have booked to return to this wonderful hotel

We had an incredible 1 week stay here for our honeymoon and had the best time. We never really felt like we had to lift a finger, you could order drinks to your sunbed, and most staff were more than happy to help you with anything you needed. We will definitely be coming back, so regardless of anything negative I’ve mentioned below, the hotel still gets 5 stars as I think the good definitely overrides the bad. Positives: - Right on the beach, literally 3 steps out of the hotel and you’re there. Plenty of sunbeds both in the hotel and at the beach. We never had to rush at breakfast or get up early to reserve sun-beds which is always a lovely experience and one less thing to worry about! - Food was brilliant, plenty to choose from and not overwhelming as I’ve been to some hotels where it takes me 30 minutes to look around the choices. The à la carte restaurants were brilliant too and it was great that we got to dine at all of them during our stay. - We walked down the promenade to the shops/bars and markets. You will literally get dragged into everything you walk past so make sure you are firm with the staff as they can be quite pushy. I get they need to sell things but sometimes it was a bit much! - There are no wristbands at the hotel, which I just want to say isn’t a problem, if anything I prefer it! But there didn’t seem to be any obvious way the hotel were monitoring the guests. You could just walk in off the promenade, sit down at a table, eat and leave as far as I was concerned; Nobody asks for your room number or to check details etc so that was something that really left me feeling a bit unsure. I didn’t feel unsafe but I just wondered how the hotel monitor/police this! Our only negative experiences (I appreciate these may come across as picky but I wanted to give my personal experience here)….. - The staff are so friendly but after a week, their “my pleasure” to everything you said was starting to grate on us. They’ve obviously been trained to say this when doing their job, but by the end of the week, it didn’t feel genuine, they seemed like robots! I know it’s manners but it just didn’t come across as sincere when they say it 29839293339 times a day. - 2 days before we flew home, we noticed the staff changed (it was now the weekend so clearly a change in staff which was expected) and we noticed they just weren’t as friendly as the staff we’d had in the week! On the Saturday evening, my husband and I sat down in the open buffet restaraunt to eat and the male waiter asked what we wanted to drink. He ordered a beer and I asked for a soft drink. He then asked why I chose a soft drink, and before I could answer, decided to answer for me and tell me that I looked pregnant! (I am NOT pregnant) - he then walked off laughing. I mean okay he may have been joking but I didn’t like that comment especially from a member of staff. - I asked for an apple juice at breakfast the following morning and got an eye roll from the lady serving us and shock horror, never received my drink. I mean I’m nit picking here but these things do make a difference when you’re paying for all inclusive. - We are English, and there were a good amount of English and German at the hotel. Absolutely fine and completely normal for us, all guests were friendly. However, we did notice that if you were German, you got a completely different attitude from the staff. They seemed more attentive and friendly to non-English guests, whereas our service was more basic shall we say. - I was sunbathing and a male waiter serving drinks to the sunbeds was there all week, seemed friendly. I couldn’t get his name. And I heard him speaking very nicely to the other guests. He came over to me to bring a drink. I said “thank you” and he then did an impression of my voice in a really squeaky tone. I said “sorry?” And he said “English?” And I said “yes?” And he proceeded to then walk off impersonating my voice. He came back over later to give my husband a beer and did the same to him! I just didn’t find it funny, he could see we didn’t appreciate it and it made me want to avoid him in the day! I didn’t understand why he was doing impressions of us? It just seemed quite rude. - If you don’t like cats then you might not enjoy this hotel. They are everywhere. Sleeping on sunbeds, hiding under tables at dinner. We didn’t mind them but I’ve never see so many cats on a holiday before! One of them climbed on my lap during dinner one night, luckily I don’t mind cats but i can imagine it might have frightened or bothered other guests having cats jump up and bother you while you’re eating. Overall though we would definitely come back. We had the most perfect honeymoon and would still recommend this hotel! We get that not everything can be perfect all the time but I will always be honest as I know how helpful reviews are for others
