We had a wonderful stay at Mary Hotel Alanya. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel is professionally managed and highly focused on guest satisfaction. The management team has created a well-organized, clean, and welcoming environment. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The coordination among the employees was impressive, reflecting the strong leadership and effective management of the hotel. The rooms and public areas were consistently clean and well-maintained. The food was varied, fresh, and delicious, and all facilities were kept in excellent condition. We especially appreciated how quickly and professionally any requests or questions were handled. Overall, Mary Hotel Alanya exceeded our expectations in terms of service quality, hospitality, and operational excellence. We would like to thank the management and the entire team for their hard work and dedication. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

After 7 days I can honestly say we’re disappointed after reading such good reviews. We stayed at the Kemer Barut( now Akra Kemer) in 2022 and we thought this hotel would mirror it! It didn’t. No where near unfortunately. What Mary Hotel did well: Cleaning and cleanliness was exceptional. Hotel stunning. Cleaners were fantastic. Pontoon area and the little spit that goes around the pontoon made it lovely for romantic walks and a great entertainment venue. Location was good with shops and a fantastic steak restaurant called ‘Havana’. Pool nice, beach bar was good. Lovely clean hotel with nice veranda and comfy seats. Nice Spa and gym was adequate. What it didn’t do well: Some staff came across as quite demotivated with many always on their phones. I’m not sure whether it was business or social calls but it’s what we noticed. I am not a fussy man but I thought the selection of food at lunch time was not up to 5 star standard. Not a great selection and cold virtually every day. Desserts not great and ice cream was like gold dust. The dinner was slightly better especially the Turkish night on the Wednesday. Not enough branded drinks unlike the Akra Kemer. The AK had an unrivalled mix of top end Malt Whiskies and high end spirits/ vodkas/ etc etc which we expected to be available at this hotel. The entertainment was not great apart from disco on Tuesday and Sunday where she should have been on main stage… No background music in night which presented a dim atmosphere. The sort of dance music which did play, in my opinion did not relate to the customers staying at this resort. Total lack of atmosphere. The cakes and coffee shop was a nice touch but spoilt by some cakes being nearly stale which was a real shame. Staff disappearing when trying to get ice cream. Summary: As above, the Mary Antalya in my opinion could be a real hit if it followed in the shoes of AK. I understand that this hotel was cheaper so it was sort of value for money. However, if I was to return I would pay the extra 200-300 pound and stay in the Akra Kemer. It feels like leagues apart in quality. The majority of staff were friendly but unfortunately let down by others who non attentive. Also I had the impression that there was a possible shortage of staff and the staff present were working harder, but that is just an observation. In my opinion this hotel definitely favoured the Russian and German holiday makers in terms of food and entertainment which is fine, but this is not the place for us to return to in the future. We had an ok holiday especially for the price but would not return. I give it 3.5 out of 5. Back to cruising for us around the med next year.
