İt was a perfect experience for us. Hotel's food was wonderful. I am glad to of everything. The workers very polite. Entairenments crew iş so funny and creative. I apreciate again Sherwood dreams resort families. You should come to here and look your enjoy. ☺️

“Good family holiday”

We stayed here as a family of 4, with 2 toddlers aged 2 & 3. After reading reviews quite a few poor reviews we were a bit skeptical about coming but we have been pleasantly suprised. We stayed here as a family of 4, with 2 toddlers aged 2 & 3. After reading reviews quite a few poor reviews we were a bit skeptical about coming but we have been pleasantly suprised. Lots for children to do, our children have really loved coming to the park and the soft play within the kids club. There's lots of activities & games for them to play. Ada has been great, so friendly and great with children. The highlight of the night for them is the mini disco with Ada. Food and drink has been good, with enough choice to keep everyone happy. The a la cart restaurant was top class, a shame you only get one a la carte per visit. The cocktails menu was great and all cocktails were nice. The snack bars and coffee shop are great too if you just want something to sit at pool with. Pools and beach are nice, lots of water slides and all clean. Toilet facilities are not the cleanest around pool area or in the bar area. Especially with young children! Only downside for us was having to pay extra to keep the room on & not even our room... we had to move to another room as we were not getting picked up until 6pm.

Review: So we arrived home last night and I thought I’d do a review for you guys as I know a few have asked! We traveled as 2 adults and a nearly 1 year old! Rooms: I agree with what some people say the rooms could maybe do with a bit of a freshen up but for the time we are in there they did the job fine! We had a double room which comes with 2 beds and a sofa bed! This was okay for our little family however if you want more space and can afford it I’d suggest a family room upgrade! Pools: these were amazing the big pool I feel was a little on the cool side however me and my little one still managed to have a little swim in there and loved it! Was lovely to cool down in! The baby pool was where we spent most of our time this was cool but warmer than the big pool in my opinion! Shallow enough to just sit with my baby and let him have a splash around! The splash park and water slides where on but not very busy at all obviously probably will be in summer! They have a mixture of music on around the pools all day which we enjoyed listening too! Sunbeds: on the first day we arrived we did struggle to get a sunbed so had to sit on chairs around the pool till some came free however after this day they seemed to bring more out and we where fine getting one! We went down around 9 all week did sunbeds then breakfast! Entertainment: This was good however not amazing as not always a live act on every night we saw 1 live act and 2 singing acts in our week there! The rest of music on in the wave bar for dancing! However the acts we did see were pretty good! They did do kiddy disco every night though at 8.30 which my little one loved! We didn’t join in with the daytime entertainment as we had our baby however darts was on twice a day and aqua aerobics was also on! Bars: cannot fault these! They serve whatever you ask for! If you have alcohol they can be strong as like other all inclusive I don’t feel they measure 😂 The cocktails where amazing! I loved the pina colada and the Sherwood dreams was also nice! The soft drinks where proper and the none alcoholic cocktails where also lovely! Wave bar was lovely to sit in of the evenings next to the sea! Lemon bar is a nice one to sit in after or before your dinner and the lobby bar is a more quiet one but just as nice! The pool bar was only Serving soft drinks but the wave bar is also next to it and open 24 hours a day so this is where you can get your alcohol! Food: The food was nice however in my opinion was a little repetitive in the buffet restaurant! We went to the pizza place twice for lunch which was very nice and also to the snack bar that you eat in 3 times this was also just as nice can highly suggest the burger in here! As well as this they have a snack bar you can go to between 12-4 that does wraps, hotdogs and chips! The chicken wraps where in another world I think I ate my all inclusive amount in these 😂 Reception: most of the staff on reception polite and helpful however I found one a little rude (sorry can’t remember her name)! When we arrive there was no cot in our room despite asking for it before arrival on our booking! I rang up was told would be there soon! Got back after dinner still no cot! I went down to ask about it after asking 4 times I was told they had none left as they were all in use!!! The housekeeper had made the sofa bed up for him!!! I was only told this as I went to speak to them or wouldn’t have known! My little one ended up sleeping in with us on and off as I was so scared off him falling out on the hard floor! So if you have a little one and can I’d suggest taking your own cot! Photographer: The on site photographer was lovely we had some photos took by them and everyday after they spoke to us and made a big deal out of my little one! If you can afford to I suggest going to get them they were amazing! 9 euros a print or 11 euros for digital! The shoot is free! And of course they do a deal if you get a lot! We had a photo with a pirate and parrot too at the end of our holiday which my little on loved! On site shops: The on site shop in my opinion is very expensive but is convenient! The on site clothing shop isn’t badly priced I didnt think and he always spoke to you! We didn’t purchase from the bag shop but again the lady always made an effort to speak! The shoe shop was also lovely and we brought my little one some flashing shoes which he loves! None of the shops had what I called pushy staff trying to get you into the shops just lovely polite staff! Towels: These are lovely and big towels and you get these with a towel card however something to consider is the spa where you get them from doesn’t open till 9am and sunbeds can be reserved from 8am so if not too dirty and you can managed we kept ours a few days then changed so could go to sunbeds to get your spot! 😂 Overall I found this hotel lovely and is very family friendly as well as a nice spot for couples or friends holidays! I do agree with jet 2 that this is a 4 star in my opinion rather than a 5 star that TUI have it down as purely due to the food and the night time entertainment really but this could be better in summer! As we left it did seem to have a bit more on so maybe and hopefully this is the case! Think I’ve covered it all any question just ask I’ll happily help! ☺️☀️💙 Happy holidays all we will definitely return to this hotel at some point as we loved our first little family holiday away together!
