Fantastic time at Sherwood Belek Kids club was absolutely amazing Julie and all her team are fantastic my girls had tears leaving ❤️ Thanks for such a amazing 10 days

“Great second visit.”

This was our second time at Sherwood Dreams in Belek. My grandchildren loved it. The slides, the beach, the sea, the mini disco, the kids club - everything. Actually my grandson who is 8 said he was having "the time of his life". My granddaughter who is 9 made some lovely friends. They want to go back. My daughter and granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the parasailing. The food was good. Sometimes you had difficulty getting a table in the evening - all about timing! The staff were lovely. When we arrived due to a couple of issues we had the previous visit we were upgraded to a 2 bathroom, jacuzzi, family room. Great room although no view but this is because the family rooms are on the side of the hotel, but the size compensates for the lack of sea view. Kids had their own space. Rooms were clean and mini bar stocked every day. My daughter enjoyed the gym and beach volleyball. The one thing that lets it down - and I normally go to Turkey with my husband 3 times a year and stay mainly in Belek for golf, the evening entertainment is not brilliant. Great mini disco for the kids - maybe a show after this but they should utilise the bar by the beach and have different music every night - live as well as a DJ. More shows and music please. Overall a very enjoyable time. Very hot at the beginning of August! We will return.

Generally Speaking a great hotel. Whilst some little things may not make this a "dubai style 5* " it is clean and tidy will hardworking staff. Generally Speaking a great hotel. Whilst some little things may not make this a "dubai style 5* " it is clean and tidy will hardworking staff. The resort is quite small in comparison to others which is good because you never feel to far away from any area (pool/beach/slides/bars) Pros 3 different Splash parks for different age kids ( however be aware that the water gets turned off without warning and if you are mid slide it can be trouble). Spacious family room. Plenty of Bars to get a drink. Large Pool that never feels crowded ( inflatables are allowed to be used). Access to Beach with beds and shade. Activities for all ages. Buffet food is lovely, always a variety of salads, freshly made pasta bar, fresh cooked meats, plenty of fish, small kids buffet, fruit, desserts, table service for drinks. The food never ran out however as you sometimes experience with an All Inclusive, Greedy individuals take heaped plates full of food with no consideration for anyone else. Evening Bar with music Entertainment some nights rooms cleaned every day Cons Not a lot of storage in Rooms (especially for 4 people) Pool area can be very slippy, we saw adults and kids slipping . Despite being Peak season there was no entertainment on every night. Given the isolation of the hotel and with no where else to go, having something for families or kids each night ( even just bingo or some family game) would have been good. Lifeguards do lots of whistle blowing but not quite sure why. The pool area is not very "tranquil" due to either music blaring, pool exercises or the water slides being very loud. If you want tranquil, use the beach. There are only 2 snack bar/restaurants and despite it being peak season they shut at the same time - 4pm. After this the food options are doughnuts or chicken wraps (for 1 hour) however these have to be eaten on your sunbed or in your room. Mini bar was not filled every day due to them wanting to come in before 9am. The worse part of this hotel was the Al A Carte options. We were not informed about it ( you get 1 visit for every 7 nights you book). The options are Turkish, Italian or Fish restaurants. We choose Italian as not all restaurants are open every night - it was Dire..... The wine had to be paid for. Cheese and bread was left on the table (uncovered). No direction was given as to what to order. Menu was basic with minimal dishes. Calzone Pizza was deep fried and had minimal filling, The cannelloni was effectively cold dry lasagne, the Ravioli was 2 tiny tiny squares in a bit of sauce with a thimble of dried meat in. The service was shocking - as I put my last mouthful in they came and took my plate before anyone else had finished,and proceeded to do this with everyone. No garlic bread available. From entering to leaving took us 25 mins! We had to go into the main buffet to find something edible. It was such a disappointing last evening meal. Generally Speaking a good hotel not worthy of the bad reviews but there is some room for improvement.

“Not a 5 starts Hotel!”

We just returned from our holiday to this hotel as a family of 2 Adults and 2 Kids ( 10 and 2 ) Been to many 5 stars hotels previously and this ia definitely not a 5 starts. It needs major improvements. Rooms are very dated, the pool area ( especially the baby one ) is full of black mould on the grout, tiles were missing from the bottom of the pool, very unsafe for babies. The area around the pool is very slippery, please ensure you were some sort of shoes/ slip on’s. We stayed on the top floor and the lady that was cleaning our floor was not doing a proper job, hoovering not done, bedsheets not done, hair left in the drains, just collecting the bin… Once my son left a pack of nutella biscuits on the sofa ( 2-3 biscuits ) and she ate them all…. I personally asked and she admitted. Food was poor for someone who do not eat beef/ lamb… not too many options of chicken meet. Sweets were almost same every day… different colours, same dough…. Constantly pasta / different shapes and salads… it’s 5 stars hotel, we do not live on pasta and salads and yougurts… cheap stuff to buy… not thematic evenings… only once with sushi and we had sushi 2/3 days after for lunch/ dinner…. Always food from the day before… whatever is not used for dinner, use it for lunch next day and dinner again… very poor food choices… On the good side of things… staff at the bar/ outside, restaurant very friendly, smiling and helpful. Nice cocktails and good weather. We will not return to this hotel.
