We stayed at Rubi Platinum Sign Hotel and had a wonderful holiday. We were very satisfied with our stay. The overall quality of the hotel, its cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff were truly excellent. The animation team, in particular, did an outstanding job. The daily activities were fun, well-organized, and engaging. The evening shows were also fantastic—we enjoyed a different, carefully prepared performance every night. The team was energetic, friendly, and always made an effort to interact with the guests. They made our holiday even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation. A big thank you to all the staff, especially the amazing animation team, for making our stay so memorable.

“Our Experience at Rubi Platinum Sign and Comparison with Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites”

Check-in & Check-out We stayed at Rubi Platinum Sign for 5 nights as a family of four. First of all, the welcome at the hotel was unfortunately disappointing for us. We arrived by car, but there was no one to greet us. After waiting for a while, we carried our own luggage to the hotel entrance, and just as we were heading toward the seating area, a staff member finally arrived. Unfortunately, we did not experience the warm welcome and hospitality that we enjoyed at Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites last year. Similarly, our check-out ended quietly, with us carrying our own bags down to the front entrance. Restaurants & Bars The hotel offers multiple dining venues. On the other hand, the main restaurant, Platinum Restaurant, was the first place we experienced and a major disappointment. This dining area is roughly a quarter of the size of the main restaurant at Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites, and it falls significantly behind in terms of both flavor and variety. The options are quite limited, with breakfast being identical every single day. However, the biggest issue was the flies. Unfortunately, our very first impression was seeing flies buzzing all over the food, dried fruits, and desserts. They were extremely annoying while sitting down and made enjoying a meal practically impossible. I have never experienced a fly problem like this at any 5-star hotel before. We reported this issue to the staff, and I strongly believe it requires urgent attention. On a positive note, the all-inclusive à la carte service was great. Instead of having lunch at Platinum Restaurant, we preferred eating at the White Lounge. It was wonderful to order via the QR code menu and have freshly prepared individual portions brought to the table. We also made a dinner reservation at the White Lounge once and had a fantastic à la carte experience. In particular, Mr. Aziz took exceptional care of us not only that evening, but throughout our entire stay. As the Tepe family, we would like to express our gratitude to him once again. They even went out of their way to source specific items that were not on the counter—such as pastrami and a specific cheese we requested—either from storage or by bringing them in the very next day. Lastly, the desserts at Art Café lagged far behind Patisserie De' Tulipe at the Spa Resort & Suites. They lacked flavor, and I was quite surprised to find that most of the herbal teas—or even a simple mint and lemon tea—were unavailable. Beach & Pools In our opinion, one of the best features of this hotel is that you never have to worry about carrying towels around, whether at the beach or the pool. The towel station attendants are truly helpful and hardworking. We never faced any issues finding a spot on the beach. The pools are clean and lovely, though we had to reserve sunbeds around 8:00 AM to secure a spot. The beach does not drop off suddenly; it is sandy and compact, and thanks to the surrounding breakwaters, we enjoyed calm, wave-free waters. The only negative aspect here was the marine debris and plastic waste washing ashore, especially near the shoreline. Although staff attempted to clear it with nets, this waste was visibly present every day. The hotel does not have a pier. Beyond the Pavilion section, there is a cordoned-off area filled with rusty iron bars and construction materials, resembling a building site. We observed many guests (including ourselves) gathering at this spot in the evening to watch the sunset and take photos. This area clashes with the hotel's aesthetic and poses a potential safety hazard. It could easily be converted into a wooden boardwalk where guests can safely walk and enjoy the view. Entertainment & Activities As for the entertainment team: we really enjoyed the activities (archery, darts, volleyball, and tennis) and had a great time. However, we had an odd experience on our very first evening. While waiting for the animation show to start, a staff member approached us and asked if we could leave a review for the hotel. I initially declined, but after persistent requests, I agreed and left a rating on Google. After a brief chat, he then asked if I could also write a review on TripAdvisor. Leaving a review is, of course, entirely optional, but how reliable can a guest's feedback be on their very first day? While there was no aggressive coercion or explicit demand for a 5-star rating, you naturally feel pressured not to disappoint the person in front of you. After I submitted the reviews, the staff member took photos of my phone screen as proof. It seems upper management incentivizes staff for this, as almost every evening we noticed employees approaching other tables with the exact same request. In fact, on our second day, while waiting for the show again, two different staff members approached us separately asking for reviews. This became quite uncomfortable. Frankly, I found it strange that a self-confident 5-star all-inclusive hotel would push guests so heavily for reviews. I have stayed at many 5-star hotels, but I have never encountered this before. Perhaps this explains the 4.9 Google rating? Either way, I believe this approach risks damaging the hotel's reputation and making guests feel uneasy. Satisfied guests will naturally leave a review at the end of their stay anyway. Rooms We stayed in a family room as a party of four. Although the room size was on the smaller side, it was very clean. However, the sound insulation was poor. The children's room, located closer to the outer side, suffered from noise coming from the hallway and other floors. In comparison, the family rooms at the Spa Resort & Suites are noticeably more isolated, quieter, and more comfortable. Conclusion Having stayed at Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites in 2025 and loved it, we decided to try Rubi Platinum Sign this year. While both properties are nice, our unanimous favorite remains Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites 😊 Overall, our stay at Rubi Platinum Sign was satisfying, and we would like to thank everyone who assisted us and contributed to our stay. However, the Spa Resort & Suites stands a few steps ahead in terms of food flavor, property size, beach width, pier facilities, overall amenities, service quality, staff warmth, and room comfort. I hope this review proves helpful to anyone, especially those curious about the differences between Rubi Platinum Sign and Rubi Platinum Spa Resort & Suites.
