I stayed here with a friend in November 2018, the staff were very friendly even though we arrived late. Excellent location situated right on the beach front with stunning views of the sunset, also very handy parking right outside the front

Amazing value for a high quality room. Very happy. Sea side view is beautiful as well. Receptionist is kind and helpful. Would be perfect in summer or winter! There is a free breakfast too which is great.

The hotel is easy to find, the staff is very friendly, speaking good English and the room is clean and pretty. The hotel is easy to find, the staff is very friendly, speaking good English and the room is clean and pretty. We were given a higher standard room for the same price because there was still one left - this is not a common thing to experience! And the view from upper floor rooms is just breathtaking (you feel as if you could touch the sea). The standard is great for the price you pay. Another good thing is that you can pay in euros in case you forgot to exchange them for the Albanian leks.

We arrived in Tirana about 11:10pm and we’d pre-arranged private transfers to/from the hotel, the journey was about 40mins to the hotel (and it was the same back to the airport at 9:30am), the guy at reception though informed me that they could have arranged an airport pick up for €25 Check-In was quick and pleasant, the gentleman at reception (who is actually one of the sons of the family business) was so nice, polite and very welcoming, and he also informed us of everything like Wi-Fi password, where everything was in the hotel, the Wi-Fi code (the Wi-Fi connection though can be a bit sporadic in connecting), he informed us where the breakfast / dinner was (and the dining times of meals – 8am – 10am & 8pm-10pm). We were touring most mornings, so we didn’t really avail of the breakfast over the 8 days, but dinner was always beautiful, which consisted of Pasta, Fish and meat dishes along with a selection of salads n’ fries. As you entered the room to the right was a spacious very clean bathroom with a few complimentary toiletries, x2 towels in the drawer (housekeeping only come every 3 days meaning the towels are only replaces every 3 days, but we asked for clean ones every second day and that wasn’t a problem), there was x2 bathrobes and a lovely rain shower. Then you entered into the bedroom which had a work station, Fridge (but no tea / coffee making facilities), a flat screen TV (with multiple English speaking channels – CNN, BBC News & Movies). The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, it also had the additional pillows we’d requested prior to our arrival, there was a wardrobe (with only about 6 hangers though), but plenty of storage room and there’s an electronic safe as well as air-conditioning. The balcony was huge, it was amazing! It’s spacious and the view was spectacular, it was fantastic watching the sunset at night before dinner in the hotel. The hotel isn’t located in the ‘city centre of Durres’ but it’s only about a 15/20 minute drive in a taxi to Durres town and about 40mins drive into Tirana, there’s also a bus station about 20 mins from the hotel (take a left when you leave the hotel and it’s a straight road down to it), but there’s also a bus stop outside the hotel, but the bus is usually full by this point from what we saw (we didn’t actually catch the bus though), for us we booked this hotel as the location of it being on the beach was perfect! There’s numerous mini markets up and down the promenade and many are 24 hours. All the family who run this hotel were so nice, friendly and it was always a pleasure talking with them all, (the mother is sooooo nice who was over from the US helping out during the peak season), even the employees that I spoke to there aren’t ‘the family’ were just as pleasant to talk too. I would recommend this hotel, and I would happily stay here again when I return to Albania
