“Medium rare”

The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible, but the room is not well-lit and feels quite dark. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are clean. The front desk staff aren’t very helpful with recommendations. Not sure it’s worth the high price.

GOOD: - Central location within walking distance of everything - Efficient and friendly service - Clean and spacious rooms - Good shower - Comfortable beds NOT SO GOOD: - VERY noisy from the street at night (try to get a room as high as possible and away from the street) - Breakfast menu very restricted, and really not great - Breakfast service very inconsistent - Large bathroom has empty walls with no shelf or surface, so toilet bags, makeup etc have to go on the floor! - Large bedroom has masses of empty space and RIDICULOUSLY inadequate hanging area for clothes All in all it's a decent, functional city centre hotel for very short stays, but really not for longer than a couple of nights.

This hotel is situated in a backstreet, but just a block away from the busy Rokin street. Then we arrived we were welcomed by a very nice lady at the reception. And also, all her colleagues were equally nice and helpful. However, then we entered our room we were chocked. The first thing we saw was a small scaffolding. Our first thought was that the room was under repair. But it was some interior decorator that had really lost it. Instead of a wardrobe, he had but in a smaller scaffolding. This was by far the ugliest thing that I have ever seen in a hotel room. The only positive with it that it was larger than most wardrobes. In our room there was a very large mirror that was just put on the floor close to a wall it was leaning on. The only thing in the room that was good was the bed that was large and soft but ugly. The only thing I have in common with this designer was we both liked leather. He had used it a lot, in our room, in the corridor, in the restaurant and at the reception area. The bathroom was perfectly all right even if the bathtub took a lot of space. I do not understand who still uses them. The breakfast was not a buffe type but had a lot of interesting choices to order from. The ones we picked were generous and tasty.
