“Great staff, great location”

The staff, including front desk and maids, were excellent. Always helpful and cheerful. Location was great for walking anywhere in the central area. Apartment was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. No complaints.

Peeling plaster, dangerously wobbly and steep stairs, nothing to light the gas stove top, tiny bathroom. That will do for a start. Peeling plaster, dangerously wobbly and steep stairs, nothing to light the gas stove top, tiny bathroom. That will do for a start. To use the toilet I had to sit with my feet in the shower..that was after I squeezed past the hand basin and bidet. My loft , no 3, had the bed and a clothes rack upstairs and the useless kitchenette, a couch and table and bathcupboard (it couldn't be called a room} downstairs. I left my suitcase downstairs as the stairs were very steep and the hand rail wobbly. Location is great, staff helpful and try their best with English. Breakfast was plentiful but very limited in things not sweet and sugary. Also our first introduction to the fact that Argentina doesn't seem to do fresh milk. We stayed 5 nights and consider it value for money based on location, helpful staff and very cheap rate.

Initial arrival, very disappointing...cab had problems finding. But, the staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Google translate helped. We had booked two rooms and neither looked like the pictures. I think pictures may have been taken 30 years ago, this place is very tired. But again… more

Initial arrival, very disappointing...cab had problems finding. But, the staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Google translate helped. We had booked two rooms and neither looked like the pictures. I think pictures may have been taken 30 years ago, this place is very tired. But again, you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, thin cloth for curtain. Minimum amount of dishes ie: 2 wine glasses, 2 forks, 2 plates... No hot water but air conditioner in our unit worked very well and our bathroom was large. The other unit had small bathroom, steep stairs, no air and a balcony overlooking street. Great for a glass of wine at night and watching happenings. It's a bizare layout with stairs and add-ons every where, rather unique. There is an elevator. No front lobby just entrance with desk. We found it very central for our needs. Staff helped us with bookings and transportation. Breakfast was an add on. This hotel grew on us.

“Bang for your buck.”

Great location with lots of great restaurants except Globo across the street. They speak English here....real bonus. We went for a budget room which was fine but if you want you can move up for a minimal extra. Clean, friendly and priced right.
