“Great one night stay.”
Great welcome with unexpected complimentary breakfast. Large room that has been refurbished looking fresh and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

“Clean and comfortable”
Clean, comfortable, straightforward and not pretentious. We made a booking late in the day for arrival that night. Reception stayed open late for our arrival as they knew we had horses to settle first. Convenient location being directly across from the Showground.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the Counry Gardens. It still represents good value even though there is no longer a free continental breakfast. Clean and presentable, with a pleasant new owner. Let down by the absence of room service, but otherwise good value for money. Disappointed that we were directed to the local hotel for an evening meal, when the host (apparently) knew that they were booked out, but didn’t mention that the motel rest… more
