“Worth a visit for a drink & pub food”
Enjoyed our 2 visits to this pub. Lots of nice locations to sit. Service very efficient a staff were friendly. Food on offer is just typical pub grub & what we had was nice enough. Not much on offer for vegetarians.

“Sad meal.. nice venue. Staff pleasant..”
Very average meal... salad.. well it's just a bag of mixed lettuce leaves. That's it.. couldn't even throw a tomato in it. For such an icon of a pub, you could do so much better.. very disappointing..

“Good pub grub”
Visited the lakes and ocean on the long weekend. We didn’t have a booking and had to wait ten min until some patrons left but that is not a problem under the circumstances. Food was nice for dinner. “Noisy, limited food & hot drinks, nice location.”
Hotel situated in a lovely location with a view of Lake Wallis. The lunchtime menu is typical pub food and it was adequate. A curious aspect was the lack of tea selection-plain black thanks! Anyway it's a pub. Noisy too with an overwhelming PA system blaring re the meat raffle.
