Short summary: if you need to be near Wesley Hospital, this is an excellent choice. There are two excellent reasons to stay at this property. First, the service provided by Patrick and Vivian was exemplary. Second, the property is about 10 minutes walk from Wesley Hospital. My father needed an emergency procedure at Wesley and we stayed at Founda Gardens for approximately 3 weeks in a 3 bedroom apartment. Patrick and Vivian were impeccable hosts during this difficult time – thank you so much to both of them - providing amenities, rearranging dates and otherwise taking care of things, so that we could take care of my father. In terms of facilities, there was a small issue with the wifi, which was rectified on our first day. There is a small pool and inexpensive day membership at a gym 4 minute walk from the front door. Kitchen was very well equipped. As mentioned, if you need to be close to Wesley Hospital, this is a great location. Keep in mind that there is some moderately steep up and down walking – which turns the otherwise 5 minute walk into a 10 minute one. If you require wheelchair or disabled access, you'll need a car to get to and from the hospital. Toowong Mall is a 5 minute bus ride away and was where we got our groceries.

Stayed here for three weeks recently, very good value, helpful management. Good size apartment with a nice view. Stayed here for three weeks recently, very good value, helpful management. Good size apartment with a nice view. Was generally very clean and tidy with the exception of the shower which had pink mould on the walls and needed cleaning on arrival. The only other let down is the lack of wifi in the apartments although you can use in the lobby. Overall I had a lovely stay and would stay here again.

“Disappointing ”

We stayed here 4 years ago and had such a good experience that we decided to stay here again on our latest visit. Overall,  this visit was a little disappointing.  The location is still lovely of course and the apartments are spacious and generally comfy. However, there needs to be some redecorating and maintenance of the building and grounds. Our apartment was generally tired. One of the 4 blinds was missing in the main bedroom. This would in my  eyes be 1) glaringly obvious to the cleaners  and 2) render the apartment unsuitable for rental until mended. But no, we were allocated this apartment and rapidly had to go back down to reception to complain. We subsequently found the missing blind in a cupboard and the man who checked us in mended the blind using clothes pegs - ingenious but a bit heath robinson. It is poor not to notice and correct problems before new customers arrive - especially something as fundamental as a bedroom blind.  The kitchen equipment is mismatched and seems to be a combination of replacements bought over the years and various bits and pieces that people have needed and then left behind - in some ways this is actually good as it meant there were plenty of plates, cutlery etc. The internet is just about adequate, the router was on the floor outside the lift for the floor - I suspect someone needs to spend some money and get a proper WiFi system installed I hope that the owners make the effort to update the decor/fittings as it could again be fantastic with a bit of attention
