Spotless convenient and well appointed. Close to the town centre nice pool and ours had everything we needed. Owner Peter was helpful and provided clear directions. Second time here and will come back. Loved it All the resort is well maintained pool cleaned every day and garden well maintained

We recently stayed in the Daintree Junior Suite and enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Information and support received in the lead up to our stay was great. The suite was almost as shown on the website although there were a few minor details not up to the standard of the rest of the unit. The biggest issue for me was the state of the hairdryer which was sticky to the touch and not pleasant to use. This was mentioned to reception the morning after arrival with an indication that housekeeping would look at this however it was not replaced while we were there. The second key to the unit did not work when used and we almost got locked out outside of reception hours (luckily we checked unlocking before closing the door and switched keys). It appeared to be bent and was replaced for us with another key. A couple of decorative details did not appear to have been upgraded along with the rest of the unit (e.g. inside of the wardrobe and a broken bedroom shutter screen). For the price we paid I think these could easily be addressed and improve the overall impression. Other than the minor niggles we were happy with our choice. We loved the view to the pool from our balcony with just enough privacy to enjoy sitting there. The pool was the perfect temperature for us, not too hot and not too cold. We did wonder why the spa pool wasn't warmer but that wasn't a big issue for us. We always managed to find a couple of loungers by the pool when we wanted them and liked that there was a variety of seating areas both in and out of the sun. The balinese feel of the resort and lush planting added to the experience. Really liked the location too, easy walking distance to the marina, restaurants and shops (including a Coles supermarket) in one direction and 4 mile beach in the other. If the minor niggles were addressed this would be a 5 star review.

Very good for young/fit people as there are a lot of stairs. I always check and book a ground floor room as my husband has a knee problem. Our room was three steps down which was good, the only problem for us was there was no sun coming in and as we are from Queensland we found the room cold and had to put blankets on the bed. In summer I am sure it would be fine. There is a heated pool and another pool, but needless to say that most people were in the heated pool. As with all resorts, this caused a lot of screaming from children, but sometimes the adults were making more noise and encouraging the children. There is no restaurant, but cooking facilities in the room, and an outside deck with a table to eat at, or there are some tables round the pool. Loungers are not too many and the umbarellas are very small so would not keep the sun off. The location is very good - close to the Wharf for going on trips and close to Macrossan Street where there are plenty of eateries and shops.
